Call page.setExtraHTTPHeaders() before page.goto(), then capture the page with page.screenshot(). This applies your headers to requests initiated by that Puppeteer page, including the initial document request.
Capture a page with custom headers
Install Puppeteer in your Node.js project, then run this ES module. Replace the example header and URL with the values you need.

Choose what the screenshot returns
page.screenshot() returns image bytes by default and saves them to a file when you provide path. PNG is the default image type. Puppeteer: Page.screenshot() and Puppeteer: ScreenshotOptions document the capture settings.

clipto capture a specified region instead of the usual viewport or full page. - Set
pathto save the image. Omit it to work with the returned bytes in your program. - Set
typeto select a supported image format; if omitted, the output is PNG.
For example, to get bytes rather than write a file, use const image = await page.screenshot({ fullPage: true });. If you need only one element, locate it and call elementHandle.screenshot(); Puppeteer scrolls the element into view when needed. Puppeteer: ElementHandle.screenshot()
Set a referer for a navigation
For a referer or referrer policy associated with one navigation, use the page.goto() options instead of treating it as a general page header. Troubleshooting
- The initial page does not receive the header: call
setExtraHTTPHeaders()beforegoto(), so the header is set before navigation begins. - A header value is rejected: provide a string value for every header. Puppeteer lowercases header names, and callers should not depend on a particular outgoing header order.
- Your referer does not match the navigation: set
refererorreferrerPolicyin thegoto()options; these navigation values take precedence over matching extra-header settings. - The capture is only the visible viewport: explicitly set
fullPage: truefor the full scrollable page. For a region, configureclip. - The output file is missing: provide a
pathtoscreenshot(). Without one, consume the returned image bytes instead of expecting a file.
