Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteWindows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread
Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallFor a webpage that renders content after navigation, use the GetScreenshot app in your Make scenario and add time in its Additional Wait Time setting. Pair that delay with an appropriate Wait Until condition; enable Scroll Page First when the page lazy-loads images or sections. Start with the vendor’s suggested 3,000–5,000 ms extra wait, then adjust against the actual page and keep its 30-second capture timeout in mind.
Set up a delayed screenshot in Make
- Add the capture module. In your Make scenario, add GetScreenshot’s Take Screenshot action. The app also lists Take Element Screenshot if you need only an element selected by CSS, plus email-delivery variants and a usage action. See the GetScreenshot app listing.
- Connect GetScreenshot. Create an account and API key with the service, then add a GetScreenshot connection in Make using that key. The vendor’s guide says the integration requires a Hamilton plan or higher; check your account for current availability and plan terms, which can change. Read the integration guide.
- Set the target and capture options. Map the webpage URL into the module. Choose full-page capture or viewport dimensions and output options that fit the workflow.
- Configure the delay and navigation condition. Open the module’s advanced settings. Set Additional Wait Time for content that appears after navigation, and choose a suitable Wait Until condition. For slow pages, the vendor suggests trying a stricter network-idle condition and beginning with roughly 3,000–5,000 ms of extra wait.
- Scroll if the page loads content on demand. Turn on Scroll Page First when images or sections appear only as the visitor scrolls.
- Use the result downstream. Map the screenshot output to a later Make module, such as cloud storage or email. If the capture takes too long for a synchronous path, the vendor documents webhook delivery for longer-running captures.
Make’s app listing confirms the capture actions; the wait-setting details come from the service’s integration guide. Labels and plan availability may change, so confirm them in the live module and your account.

Choose a wait condition and delay
A navigation condition decides which browser event or network state the service waits for before applying its extra delay. Rasterwise documents load, domcontentloaded, networkidle0 and networkidle2; its documented default is networkidle2. A stricter network-idle condition may catch content that arrives after DOM readiness, but pages with persistent network requests can prevent a strict idle state. Treat the condition and delay as a balance between capture completeness and elapsed time, and tune them on the target page. See the API reference.

The API reference describes timewait as extra milliseconds after the service’s rendering flow. It lists a 2,000 ms default and recommends starting at 5,000 ms, then increasing in 1,000 ms increments if necessary. These are vendor settings and guidance, not a guarantee that every site will render correctly. The API endpoint has a 30-second timeout, so avoid adding delay blindly.

Practical tuning sequence
- Capture once with the default or a moderate additional wait.
- If late content is missing, increase the extra wait in small increments and try a stricter wait condition.
- If the missing content appears only below the fold, enable scrolling before capture rather than relying on a longer delay alone.
- If the page never becomes network-idle or the request approaches the timeout, try a less restrictive condition or simplify the capture workflow.
Use Make’s HTTP app for a custom API route
If you want to control API parameters directly instead of using the dedicated screenshot module, Make’s HTTP app can send authenticated or unauthenticated HTTPS requests. It supports API-key credentials and configurable request timeouts from 1 to 300 seconds. Make also provides a Download a file module for retrieving an image URL returned by an API. Put secrets in Make’s dedicated credentials or keychain fields when the API’s authentication method allows it, rather than ordinary headers or query fields. See Make’s HTTP app documentation.
Rasterwise documents a GET endpoint with timewait and waituntil parameters in its API reference. With this route, you must map the endpoint, authentication, parameters, response and any follow-up file retrieval yourself. For a typical scenario, the dedicated GetScreenshot app is the more straightforward starting point; HTTP is useful when direct parameter control matters.

What to check when the capture fails
- Late content is missing: Increase Additional Wait Time gradually and try a stricter Wait Until condition.
- Lazy images or sections are absent: Enable Scroll Page First so the page has a chance to load content triggered by scrolling.
- The screenshot is blank: The vendor suggests increasing the wait—for example, to 5,000 ms or more—and trying another wait condition. JavaScript-dependent pages may need more time, but a longer delay cannot fix every page failure.
- The capture times out: Reduce the wait or page complexity. Rasterwise documents a 30-second API endpoint timeout; for longer-running captures, its Make guide describes webhook delivery.
- The page requires login: Rasterwise documents experimental login automation, but says it is not guaranteed. Avoid sending a regular personal password to a third-party capture service; use a suitably restricted credential only when the workflow genuinely requires it.
Response time, retention and reliability
Rasterwise’s 2026 API documentation gives average response times of 8,000–12,000 ms for simple websites and 15,000–22,000 ms for complex websites, and a 30,000 ms endpoint timeout. These are vendor-published operating figures, not independent benchmarks, and a particular page may take a different amount of time. The same API overview says screenshot files are available for 30 days before deletion; move captures to durable storage if you need to retain them longer. Check the vendor API overview.

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
Replace the example URL with the page you need and supply your API key. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options. ScreenshotNeo removes supported cookie banners, newsletter popups and chat widgets before capture; bot checks, blank pages and failed loads are never billed. Its MCP server lets AI agents take screenshots, and the free plan includes 1,000 screenshots per month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000. Sign up for ScreenshotNeo’s free plan.
Other Make screenshot options
Make’s HTML to Image API app lists a Capture Website Screenshot action, along with image and PDF generation. Its published Make documentation says public documentation is limited, so an equivalent delayed-render control is not established there. Confirm wait support with the vendor before choosing it for a workflow that depends on delayed content. See the HTML to Image API app listing.

Does adding more wait time guarantee that all dynamic content will appear?
No. The delay gives the page more time to render, but site behavior, persistent requests and failures can still affect the result.
