Capture the entire page in Firefox
- Open the web page you want to save.
- Click the Awesome Screenshot icon near the address bar. If it is not shown there, look for it in Firefox’s extensions menu or pin it to the toolbar; menu labels can vary by browser version.
- Select Capture Entire Page. This is the Firefox-specific command in Awesome Screenshot’s instructions. Awesome Screenshot’s full-page capture instructions
- Review the captured page, make any edits, and choose an export format.
Do not rely on a keyboard shortcut from instructions written for Chrome: the publisher’s Firefox-specific workflow uses the toolbar icon and the Capture Entire Page command.

Choose the right capture and export
The Firefox add-on listing describes three capture scopes: full page, selected area, and the visible portion of the page. Choose the scope based on what you need to preserve:
- Full page: captures the whole document, including content below the current viewport.
- Selected area: captures a region you choose.
- Visible part: captures only what is currently on screen.

If Capture Entire Page is missing or fails
- The toolbar icon is not visible: check Firefox’s extensions menu or pin the add-on to the toolbar, then open the page and try again.
- The command is absent or capture does not work: check the add-on’s Mozilla listing for its current version and compatibility. The developer notes that faster Firefox upgrade cycles can sometimes make the extension incompatible with the latest Firefox version.
- You are following a shortcut or menu path from another browser: use the Firefox-specific toolbar procedure. The publisher’s instructions differ for Chrome and Edge.
The Mozilla listing identifies the developer as Diigo Inc. and lists version 4.3.7.21, last updated November 19, 2025. Those details are the listing’s stated version and update date, not a guarantee that the add-on remains compatible with every later Firefox release. Check the current Mozilla Add-ons listing.
Permissions and privacy to consider
The Firefox listing requests access to website data, browser tabs, clipboard input, and downloads. Its disclosure says basic account and service-use information may be collected, including registered email, browser type and version, and service pages visited. It says screenshot and video content is private by default unless the account owner chooses to share it. Yes. The Firefox add-on listing says you can download the capture as a PDF.
