Screenshot.rocks does not document a way to paste authentication cookies into a capture. To capture a page behind a login, sign in to it in your own browser, open the part you want, then use the Screenshot.rocks extension to capture the visible tab. For a full-page result, take a full-page screenshot in your browser and import that image into the editor.
Capture a page behind a login with the Screenshot.rocks extension
The extension uses the page already open in your browser, so you do not need to copy session-cookie values into Screenshot.rocks. You must be authorized to access the account and page.

- Open the protected page in Chrome or Edge and sign in through the site as usual.
- Navigate to the portion of the page you want in the image. The extension captures the visible part of the active tab, so arrange the page and browser viewport first.
- Click the Screenshot.rocks extension. Its guide says the captured screenshot opens in the editor in a new tab.
- In the editor, choose a browser frame or other available style, set a background, and add any markup you need; then export the finished mockup. Screenshot.rocks describes its editing functions on its home page.
For product-specific steps, see the Screenshot.rocks extension guide.

Make a full-page mockup
The extension captures only what is visible in the tab, not the entire scrolling page. Use your browser’s full-page screenshot feature to capture the page first, then import that image into Screenshot.rocks’ editor and style or annotate it there. Browser menus and shortcuts vary by browser and version, so use the full-page capture method documented for your browser.
#1 Best Overall
Does Screenshot.rocks accept authentication cookies?
The official Screenshot.rocks workflow describes capturing an already-authenticated browser tab; its reviewed pages do not document a manual cookie-entry feature. Do not paste session-cookie values into the editor on the assumption that it supports them. A cookie-taking screenshot API is a different kind of tool: it supplies cookies to a browser controlled by that API, rather than capturing the tab you have open.
Privacy and sensitive pages
Screenshot.rocks says images are processed in the browser and are not stored on its servers. Its extension guide also says the screenshot is sent to Screenshot.rocks to open in the editor and is not stored. Treat the resulting image as sensitive if it shows account details, customer data, or other private information, and capture only content you are permitted to access.

The Chrome and Edge extensions’ guide says they request only the activeTab permission and can access a tab only after the user clicks the extension button. Browser permissions and product practices can change; consult the current extension guide for the documented details.

If you need a screenshot API to capture a URL using supplied cookies, ScreenshotNeo is an alternative: its API accepts a URL, and its documented cookie options can support authenticated captures. One GET request returns an image or PDF. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for authentication and request options.
