On a compatible Redmi phone, take a regular screenshot of the webpage, tap Scroll in the preview, stop at the desired endpoint, then tap DONE and the check mark to save. The scrolling control extends the screenshot beyond the visible screen; whether it appears depends on the phone model, software and page.
Capture a scrolling screenshot on Redmi
- Open the webpage and position it at the point where the screenshot should begin.
- Take a normal screenshot. Xiaomi’s general support guide describes swiping down with three fingers when that shortcut is enabled; the REDMI Note 14 5G FAQ documents pressing Power and Volume Down together. The shortcut can differ by model and settings.
- In the screenshot preview, tap Scroll. Xiaomi’s scrolling screenshot guide places this control at the upper-right of the screenshot preview.
- Let the phone scroll automatically, or scroll manually to choose where the capture ends.
- Tap DONE, then tap the check mark to save.
If Gallery Editor asks for folder access, grant the required permission so it can view and save the scrolling screenshot. To find the result, check Gallery or the Screenshots folder in Photos; Xiaomi lists these locations in its REDMI 12 instructions.

Why Scroll may not appear
The page or app must allow scrolling screenshots. Xiaomi says the feature is not supported in every scenario: its REDMI 12 FAQ gives non-scrollable pages and some banking, financial or payment apps that block screenshots for security as examples. Xiaomi’s cited guidance does not establish support for every Redmi model or software version, so check the support page for your exact phone if the steps differ.
Fix common problems
- No Scroll button: Confirm the page can scroll, and try a regular webpage rather than an app that may restrict screenshots. If the first screenshot method does not work, consult the exact model’s guide for the correct gesture or button combination.
- The capture stops too soon: During scrolling capture, scroll to the point where you want the image to end before tapping DONE.
- The image is missing or will not save: Check Gallery Editor’s folder permissions, then look in Gallery or Photos’ Screenshots folder.
