Save a webpage as a PDF on desktop Chrome
- Open the webpage in Chrome and wait for the relevant content to load.
- Choose File → Print, or use your operating system’s print shortcut.
- In the print dialog, choose Save as PDF as the destination.
- Save the file, then open it and check that the content you need appears.
- In Gemini Apps on the web, choose Add files, select the PDF, and enter your question.

Save a webpage as a PDF on Android Chrome
- Open the page in Chrome.
- Tap More → Share → Print.
- In the print preview, select Save as PDF.
- Choose a location and save the file.
- Open Gemini Apps, tap Add files, attach the PDF, and ask your question.

Capture a full-page screenshot on iPhone Safari
- Open the webpage in Safari and take a screenshot.
- Tap the screenshot thumbnail before it disappears.
- Choose Full Page in the screenshot preview.
- Inspect the capture and crop it if needed, then save it.
- In Gemini Apps, choose Add files and attach the saved screenshot.
Apple documents the Full Page option for content beyond the screen, including webpages in Safari. The available saving options are shown in its iPhone screenshot instructions.

- Open the page in Safari.
- Open the page menu, tap Share, then choose Markup.
- Tap Done, then choose Save File To.
- Save the PDF, then attach it in Gemini using Add files.

In Gemini Apps on the web, choose Add files, select the PDF or screenshot, and write a prompt that says what you want analyzed. Google’s current help page documents up to 10 files in one prompt, subject to availability, and a maximum of 100 MB for supported files other than video. Ask about the open page or a selected region
Where available on supported desktop setups, Gemini in Chrome can provide context from a page you have open. Gemini in Chrome also has a screen-selection workflow for attaching a particular region, useful for a chart, passage, or visible detail rather than an entire long page. Availability depends on the supported setup and country; see Google’s screen-selection instructions. Do not assume these workflows are available in every browser, country, or account.
Check the capture before relying on it
Open the saved file and confirm the pages or screen area Gemini needs are present. Browser capture instructions do not guarantee that every site’s dynamically loaded content, embedded media, login-gated sections, or print styling will be preserved.

- If a PDF omits important content or changes the layout, try the full-page screenshot route when available.
- If a screenshot is too long or difficult to inspect, try saving a PDF instead.
- If the relevant detail is only one chart or passage, use Gemini in Chrome’s screen-selection workflow when supported, or capture that area separately.
