To capture content on an infinite-scroll website, first scroll down the page in increments until the items you need have loaded, then take a full-page screenshot. A “full page” capture can include the page’s current scrollable height without scrolling through the live page, so it may miss feed items and images that load only as they approach the viewport.
Why a full-page screenshot can miss content
Full-page capture and scroll-triggered loading are separate operations. Playwright describes its full-page option as capturing the full scrollable page, as if it were displayed on a very tall screen. That does not guarantee a dynamic feed has fetched every item: the site may load more only after scrolling, or defer images and frames until they near a viewport. There may be no finite bottom to an infinite feed. Decide which item or section must appear in the result, and verify that it is there rather than treating “full page” as “everything the site could ever load.”

Open the page and wait for its initial content to settle.

Scroll down in manageable increments. Pause after each movement so new items and images can load. Continue until the final item you need appears or the page indicates that no more items are available.

Open Firefox’s screenshot tool by right-clicking an empty area and choosing Take Screenshot, or use Ctrl+Shift+S on Windows or Linux, or Command+Shift+S on macOS. Choose Save full page.

Inspect the saved image at the top, middle, and bottom. Check that the intended final item is present and look for gaps, repeated sections, or clipped content. If the tail is missing, return to the page, scroll farther, wait for loading to settle, and capture again.

Repeatable captures with Playwright
For automated capture, use Playwright’s full-page screenshot option after driving the page to load the content you need. The example below targets the body document; its scroll-and-wait loop is deliberately bounded, so adjust the increments and stop condition to match the site and the required extent. A fixed number of scrolls is not proof that the end of a feed has been reached.

The scrolling and pauses are what give viewport-dependent content an opportunity to load; the screenshot option does not trigger that behavior by itself. Choose a stopping condition, not just a delay
A fixed pause is simple but unreliable when network speed and page behavior vary. If the site exposes a loading indicator, expected item, or end marker, use that page-specific signal to decide when to continue or stop. The sources do not establish a universal stopping rule for infinite feeds. If the feed is inside a separately scrolling panel, scroll that panel: intersection-based loading may be relative to a nested scroll container rather than the document. Troubleshooting and practical limits
The bottom of the feed is absent
The page may not have loaded that content before the screenshot. Scroll farther, wait for new items or the loading indicator to settle, and recapture. Check whether the feed has a page-specific end marker; an unbounded feed may not have a definitive last item.
Images or frames are blank
Offscreen media may be deferred until it approaches the viewport. Scroll it into view and allow it to finish loading before capturing. Increasing the wait alone may not help if the element has not been brought near the relevant viewport.
The feed does not advance
If scrolling the browser window does not load items, check whether the feed is in a nested panel with its own scrollbar. Scroll inside that panel so its viewport intersection behavior can run.

The screenshot is too long to read
Capture only the range you need, or take several overlapping screenshots. Preserve enough overlap to recognize continuity between adjacent captures.
The page contains private information
Capture only pages you are authorized to access and store. Review the resulting image before sharing it; screenshots can expose account details or other personal information.

Confirm the last required item is visible, not merely that the screenshot file is tall.

Inspect top, middle, and bottom for missing sections, blank media, repeated content, and clipping.

If an item is missing, drive the live page farther, wait for it to load, and capture again.

For repeat captures, use a page-specific loading or end condition where available; the sources do not provide a universal completeness test or speed benchmark.
