To find Apple purchases, open the App Store, tap your profile photo or initials, then go to Apps & Purchase History → Purchase History.
Cancel an Apple-billed subscription
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top of the screen.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select the subscription you want to stop.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll down to find the button.
This route applies to subscriptions billed by Apple, including subscriptions purchased through an App Store app. If another company bills you directly, cancel through that company instead. Apple says that if there is no Cancel button or the subscription shows an expiration message in red, it is already canceled. See Apple’s subscription cancellation instructions.

Find your Apple purchase history
- Open the App Store.
- Tap your profile photo or initials.
- Tap Apps & Purchase History, then Purchase History.
- If prompted, sign in to the Apple Account used for the purchases.
The list includes App Store apps and in-app purchases, subscriptions, music, videos, books, AppleCare+, and other items. To locate an older transaction, change the Last 90 days date filter. You can also search by the amount of a charge. The available filters can include date, cost, item type, and—if you organize Family Sharing—family member. Apple’s iPhone User Guide explains purchase-history filters.
Use Apple’s website as a cross-check
Sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com using the Apple Account associated with the purchase. Apple’s purchase history covers apps, subscriptions, music, and other purchased content. If an item is missing from the iPhone view, check the website and any other Apple Account you may have used.

If a subscription or purchase is missing
Check the Apple Account on the receipt
Search your email for an Apple receipt and confirm which Apple Account it names. If you have more than one account, sign in with the account used for that transaction. If the subscription belongs to a family member’s account, that family member must cancel it; you can’t cancel another family member’s subscription.
Identify who billed you
If you can’t find an Apple receipt, check your bank or card statement for the biller. A subscription purchased directly from another company must be canceled through that company. Likewise, a charge for an app that does not appear in Apple history may have used an alternative payment option or the developer’s website; contact the app developer about that charge. Apple describes these distinctions in its cancellation guidance and purchase-history guidance.

Investigate a charge you don’t recognize
One Apple bill can combine multiple purchases or subscriptions, and a family member may have made the purchase. Compare the charge with your purchase history, check family purchases, and review the account on the receipt. For an unfamiliar billing-statement charge, follow Apple’s steps to identify the charge. Some purchases may be eligible for a refund, but eligibility is not guaranteed.
