To cancel a Kahoot subscription, use the billing service that took payment: cancel a web purchase in Kahoot under Account settings → Billing → Manage subscription → Cancel Subscription; cancel an in-app purchase through the Apple or Google account used to subscribe. Follow all prompts and look for confirmation. Cancellation generally stops the next renewal, not access already paid for.
Choose the cancellation route that matches your purchase
Check where the subscription was purchased or billed before canceling. Kahoot’s web cancellation guidance says web subscriptions are managed in Kahoot, while subscriptions bought through an app are managed by the relevant store. If you are unsure, check Kahoot’s Billing page: a Manage subscription option indicates the web route; an app-store purchase must be handled through that store.

Cancel a subscription purchased on the Kahoot website
- Sign in to the Kahoot account associated with the subscription.
- Open the account settings menu and select Billing.
- Select Manage subscription, then choose Cancel Subscription.
- Complete the prompts and continue until Kahoot displays a cancellation confirmation. Keep the confirmation for your records.
Do not assume the subscription is canceled just because you opened the cancellation flow. Kahoot says the process is complete when the confirmation notice appears.

- Sign in to Google Play with the Google account that made the purchase.
- Open Subscriptions and select the Kahoot subscription.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the instructions. On Google Play’s website, select Manage, then Cancel subscription, choose a reason, and continue.
If Kahoot does not appear in the list, check whether you are signed in to the Google account that holds the subscription. Uninstalling the Kahoot app does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Google’s instructions are in Cancel, pause or change a subscription on Google Play.

Cancel an Apple-billed subscription
Manage the subscription through Apple using the Apple account that made the purchase. Kahoot directs Apple-billed subscribers to Apple for subscription billing and refund matters, but its cancellation guidance does not give Apple’s screen-by-screen steps. Make sure you are using the purchasing Apple account and follow Apple’s subscription-management prompts.
What happens after you cancel
Canceling a renewal generally prevents the next automatic charge; it usually does not end access immediately. Kahoot says paid access normally continues until the end of the current prepaid billing period. When that period expires, the account returns to basic access.

Personal-folder kahoots remain available and can still be hosted after the downgrade. However, saving edits may require removing premium features or question types that are not part of basic access. If you change your mind before the subscription expires, Kahoot says an active canceled web subscription can be reactivated in Billing. Reactivation removes the cancellation and restores automatic renewal.

Cancellation and refunds are separate
Ordinary cancellation stops future renewal; it does not normally return dues already paid. A separate withdrawal or refund request may be available in some circumstances. Kahoot’s refund policy says qualifying consumers may be eligible to withdraw from a feature subscription within 14 days of purchase, subject to jurisdiction and the applicable terms. That window is conditional, not a guaranteed refund. Kahoot describes content subscriptions, including AccessPass and marketplace content, as ineligible for withdrawal or refund because access is immediate.

For a purchase made through Apple or Google Play, Kahoot says to contact the store about billing and refund requests. Canceling a subscription and requesting a refund are different actions; submitting one does not automatically complete the other.
Workspace plans require the owner
For a Workspace or other multi-license plan, only the Workspace owner can cancel. The cancellation affects every license and member on the plan, not just one person. If you are a member rather than the owner, contact the owner instead of looking for a personal cancellation control.

Deleting your Kahoot account will not cancel billing
Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate. Kahoot states: “Deleting your account does not guarantee a refund, nor does it cancel your active subscription.” Cancel the subscription through its billing route first if your goal is to stop future charges; then decide whether to delete the account.
