Set 72306 recreates the original PlayStation console and controller in LEGO bricks. LEGO lists it as an 18+ set with 1,911 pieces. The controller plugs into the console, and LEGO describes the console’s Open and Power buttons as functional. Opening the model reveals two removable, buildable game-inspired scenes:

Plan space for the display
LEGO gives the console’s dimensions as over 6 cm high, 26 cm wide, and 19 cm deep. The shallow height does not make it a small-footprint display: allow for its full width and depth, and remember these figures describe the console itself, not every possible arrangement of the controller and loose scenes.

Choose between two documented display layouts:
- Compact: keep the dioramas inside the console. This limits the additional space needed for the scenes, though you may want the controller visible beside or plugged into the model.
- Expanded: set the dioramas alongside the console to show them. Compare the available shelf or desk width and depth with the console, controller, and chosen scene placement.

LEGO announced October 4, 2026 as the general release date and recommended prices of £139.99, €159.99, and $179.99. These are announced regional figures, not a guarantee of current local stock or price. The captured LEGO US product page still showed “Coming soon on October 4, 2026,” so check the product listing for your region before assuming the set is purchasable or available in stock.
