Start with the allies you actually own, then choose for the mode you are playing.

Pocket Gamer’s Soul Strike tier list labels its ranking version 3.2.6 and gives an update date of October 4, 2026. The update notes five additions: Laurent, Ruelle, Aiyo, Hannia, and Riel. The page describes S-tier allies as performing well into later stages, A-tier allies as strong for most content but more dependent on team synergy, and B-tier allies as less effective than those above them and candidates to replace as stronger options become available.

Those are broad editorial assessments by the page’s author, Mihail Katsoris, informed by experience and community information. The page does not report a named study, measured win rates, statistical methodology, or numerical gaps between tiers. Its own caution is worth keeping in view: “That said, no tier list is absolute.”
How to read the published tiers
- S tier: A useful first place to look when you own several listed allies and need a shortlist for general progression.
- A tier: Strong candidates, particularly when they fit the rest of your available team; Pocket Gamer says these allies depend more on synergy.
- B tier: The page rates these allies below the higher bands and advises replacing them when better allies become available. That is not a reason to discard an ally you need now or have already invested in.
The page has repeated names or variants and some apparent spelling inconsistencies, including an entry rendered as “Roy Mustand.” Check the exact in-game ally name rather than relying on an ambiguous list entry.

Turn the ranking into a team for your account
- Make a shortlist from the current version. Check the date and version label first. A ranking can help narrow choices, but it does not account for your exact roster, upgrades, or preferred mode.
- Filter by allies you can actually field. Compare the ranked options you own, not every character on the page. Official publisher material discusses selected ally summons and progression systems, but does not establish which summon or upgrade is best for a particular account.
- Use synergy to break close calls. When choosing between similarly appealing options, favor the ally that better complements the rest of your available team. The published ranking specifically highlights synergy for A-tier allies; it does not verify particular pairings or a complete role-based formation.
- Choose for the activity you are entering. A lineup that works for general progression is not automatically the best choice for player-versus-player play.
- Recheck after updates. Version 3.2.6’s five named additions show that list coverage can change. Revisit the ranking when the game or list receives a substantial update.
Why arena needs its own lineup decision
Com2uS’s Companion Arena announcement describes a PvP mode in which players strategically position five allies. It also says weekly points determine promotion or demotion. That makes arena lineup choices specific to that mode: do not treat a five-ally PvP formation as a universal answer for PvE progression.
The same announcement describes daily entry tickets, additional attempts purchasable with Aether, and six rank tiers from Bronze to Challenger. Because the announcement’s publication date is not established in the cited page extract, verify these mechanics in your game before relying on them as current rules.

Keep acquisition and progression claims in perspective
Com2uS has also described selectable ally summons and returning collaboration allies in a separate publisher announcement. These examples show that acquisition opportunities can rotate; they do not establish a lasting recommendation for which summon to choose.

Another publisher announcement discusses unique transcendence for allies and skills after ten awakenings, with specified materials, and introduces mythical ally Ruelle in its Korean announcement. Pocket Gamer lists Ruelle in A tier. The announcement does not establish that an event or summon is still available in every region, so check the current in-game notices rather than assuming you can acquire a newly listed ally now.

What a tier list cannot tell you
The cited sources do not establish a universal winning team for PvE, specific ally pairings, role assignments, skill rotations, equipment builds, or quantified performance differences between ranks. Use the ranking to decide whom to consider, then judge candidates against your own roster and the mode’s requirements. If you need a precise formation or build, the evidence here is not enough to name one reliably.
