Build around what the stage asks your roster to do, not a single “best team” or the Team Power total. Start with damage, a way to survive, and any useful support or debuffs your champions can provide; then account for enemy affinity, gear needs, and how the team behaves on Auto. A Campaign lineup can be a useful starting point, but Dungeons have their own waves, bosses, and gear pools, so a dedicated team may work better.
What makes a balanced team?
There is no universal lineup for every Campaign stage and Dungeon. Build a flexible core from champions who cover complementary jobs, then adjust for the encounter:

- Damage: a champion or champions that can clear enemy waves or contribute against the boss.
- Staying power: protection, healing, or durable champions that help the team survive long enough to finish.
- Useful support: buffs, debuffs, or control that fit the encounter and your roster. A debuff plan only helps when its effects can land.
This is a practical role framework, not an official required role count or prescribed lineup. Campaign commonly asks you to clear waves efficiently; a Dungeon adds its own rounds and boss, which can change what the team needs.
Should you use the same team for Campaign and Dungeons?
Use your Campaign lineup as a starting point, not a rule. Campaign stages can help you target beginner gear by gear type, while Campaign gear is weaker than gear from higher Dungeon levels. Each Artifact Dungeon has a distinct gear pool, and higher floors can provide more powerful gear. Choose the team for the specific Dungeon and gear goal rather than assuming a fast Campaign team will also farm it reliably. Plarium’s gear guide explains these differences.

Check affinity before choosing damage dealers
RAID’s affinity cycle is Force over Magic, Magic over Spirit, and Spirit over Force; Void is neutral. A favored affinity has a 50% chance to produce a Crushing Hit and an extra 15% chance of a Critical Hit. Against an affinity disadvantage, damage is reduced by 20% and there is a 35% chance of a Weak Hit, according to Plarium Support’s affinity guide.
That makes affinity relevant when comparing otherwise attractive attackers: a disadvantage can make damage less dependable, while Void has neither advantage nor weakness. Check the stage matchup before committing to a team.

Choose gear for each champion’s job
Prioritize stats and set bonuses that support what a champion needs to do. Speed helps a champion act sooner; Accuracy helps debuffs land; HP and Defense support survival. Critical stats are more useful for damage dealers whose attacks crit consistently. The following set bonuses are listed in Plarium’s gear guide; they are general effects, not stage-specific stat targets.

These bonuses do not establish the Speed or Accuracy required for a particular stage. Avoid treating a general set recommendation as a tested threshold; tune stats to the champion, encounter, and result you need.

Use Team Power as a rough indicator, not a prediction
Team Power adds together each champion’s Power, which is calculated from stats including HP, Attack, Defense, Speed, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Resistance, and Accuracy. Plarium describes the total as approximate and says synergy and counter-picking are more accurate ways to judge a matchup. A larger displayed number alone does not show whether the team has the right roles, can land its debuffs, or handles the stage’s affinity.
Configure the team for Auto runs
Saved Teams let you keep a general group for Campaign and Dungeons, while Skill Instructions can override a champion’s default AI priorities. This can help when an important buff, debuff, or cooldown skill is being used at the wrong time. The available instructions depend on the champion and encounter; there is no single optimal skill order for every team.

- Open Team Setup and save a general team for the relevant Campaign or Dungeon battles.
- Open Skill Instructions and adjust skill priorities where the default Auto behavior is undermining the plan.
- Review an Auto run to see whether key skills are being used when needed, then revise the instructions if necessary.

Check Multi-Battle settings before farming
Multi-Battle can repeat Campaign or Dungeon runs and includes a gear-selling filter. Plarium warns that the filter needs at least one selected option in each listed category; otherwise, all gear may be sold. Its settings can also allow runs to continue after a loss, keep running after champions reach max level in Campaign, or automatically spend Gems to restore Energy.

- Check that the gear filter has a selection in every listed category before starting.
- Decide whether runs should continue after a loss or after Campaign champions reach max level.
- Review the Energy restoration setting so Gems are not spent unintentionally.
