How to approach multiple URLs
The documented example assigns one URL to each capture-website task. The Jobs API is organized around named tasks and task inputs, so a developer could investigate creating one capture task per URL and one corresponding export task per capture result in a single job. This is an implementation inference from the task model, not a documented promise of bulk URL conversion.

Choose rendering and PDF controls
CloudConvert describes its HTML-to-PDF API as headless-Chrome based. Its product page lists URL or HTML input, authorization headers for protected URLs, waiting for a CSS selector, and PDF controls such as page size, margins, zoom, headers, and footers. Wait for page content
For pages that populate content after initial navigation, CloudConvert lists the ability to wait until a CSS selector appears. Choose a selector that signals the content you need is ready; a selector that never appears can prevent the capture from reaching the intended state.

For URLs requiring authorization, CloudConvert lists custom authorization headers. Handle credentials as secrets in your application, and avoid putting sensitive tokens into logs or publicly accessible job data.
Set page layout and headers or footers
CloudConvert lists settings for page size, margins, zoom, and headers or footers. Its capture-operation documentation describes supplying header/footer template files through import tasks, setting display_header_footer to true, and allowing top or bottom margin space for the templates. Documented template classes include date, title, url, pageNumber, and totalPages.

Handle completion and retrieve PDFs
Jobs can finish asynchronously. CloudConvert recommends webhooks to notify your application when a job completes; its quickstart also describes querying the synchronous job endpoint while waiting. The quickstart says export URLs are valid for 24 hours, so download the PDF or route it to storage such as S3 or Azure before relying on long-term access.
Do not confuse export-link validity with job retention: the Jobs API reference says jobs are automatically deleted 24 hours after they have ended. These are separate lifecycle details. Check the Jobs API reference and API quickstart for status and workflow details.

Treat that as a displayed starting figure, not a guaranteed quote for a particular plan, volume, or date. Confirm the current price and any applicable account constraints with CloudConvert before estimating a batch budget.
Troubleshoot common problems
- The job is still waiting or processing: Jobs are asynchronous. Use a completion webhook or query the job endpoint rather than assuming the initial response contains a finished PDF.
- A capture does not include dynamic content: Configure a documented selector wait where appropriate, and choose a selector that appears only when the content you need is ready.
- A protected page does not load as intended: Check whether the target requires authorization headers and whether the configured credentials are valid.
- A multi-URL job fails or behaves unexpectedly: The reviewed documentation does not specify a bulk limit or concurrency behavior. Test the task arrangement with a small set and verify current API and account constraints with CloudConvert.
- An export link no longer works: The quickstart says links are valid for 24 hours. Retrieve the file within that period or configure output storage for your workflow.
