For a LEGO Insiders reward that supplies a code, add the reward to your bag, open My Bag, start checkout, and enter the code in the Enter Promo Code box. LEGO allows only one reward code per order, and you must place an order to redeem the reward.
Not every LEGO promotion uses that box. Insiders points discounts are selected from My Bag or secure checkout, while some gifts are added automatically when your basket meets the offer terms. Gift cards use a separate field.

First identify which kind of LEGO saving you have
“Promo code” can describe several different LEGO checkout mechanisms. Using the wrong one is the most common reason a shopper cannot find a field or sees an offer fail.

Read the offer wording before trying to redeem anything. LEGO’s terms vary by country, storefront, product selection, merchandise total, dates, stock and whether another discount is already in the order.

A code-bearing reward normally appears in your Insiders rewards area with instructions to select or claim it. A points discount instead displays a points balance or spending choice. An offer advertised as a gift with purchase may show a qualifying set and a gift item without displaying any code at all. Keeping these categories separate prevents you from entering a gift-card PIN, points balance or an old voucher into the wrong field.
How to enter a LEGO Insiders reward code
Use these steps when your Insiders reward specifically provides a code.
- Sign in to your LEGO account. Use the account that holds the Insiders reward. If you have not selected the reward yet, open the Insiders rewards area and choose the reward you want.
- Add the reward to your bag. A code-bearing reward is not redeemed merely by viewing it or copying its code. LEGO’s help guidance says to select and add the reward to the bag first.
- Put the products you want in the same bag. Check the offer’s product exclusions, minimum merchandise value and regional availability before proceeding.
- Open My Bag. Review the products, quantities and any qualifying amount. Start checkout from the bag.
- Find Enter Promo Code. During checkout, locate the box labelled Enter Promo Code. Type or paste the reward code exactly as supplied, then submit it using the control beside the field.
- Confirm the result before paying. Look for the reward or discount to appear in the order summary. If it does not appear, do not assume it will be applied later; stop and check the offer terms.
- Complete the order. LEGO states that a reward cannot be redeemed without placing an order. A code left unused in a bag is not the same as a completed redemption.
What “one reward code per order” means
LEGO’s Insiders help information says only one reward code may be used on an order. That is a limit on reward codes, not a promise that every other promotion can be stacked with one. The specific offer terms decide whether an automatic gift, points discount or other deal can be combined.
If you have several eligible rewards, decide which one gives the best value before applying it. The one-code rule means adding a second reward code is not a fallback if the first one reduces the total less than expected. Check the order summary after applying the selected reward, and remove it before trying a different reward if the checkout allows that change.
How to use Insiders points for a discount
If you want to exchange points for savings rather than enter a supplied reward code, use the points option instead of the promo-code box.
- Open My Bag while signed in to the eligible Insiders account.
- Select how many points you want to use. The option appears only when the account has enough points for the available saving.
- Choose Checkout Securely.
- Continue through shipping and contact information. LEGO says the points saving can also be selected or changed after those details are entered in secure checkout.
- Check the revised order total and confirm the points deduction before submitting payment.
A points saving and a reward code are different transactions. If you spend points through My Bag, there may be no code to paste into Enter Promo Code. Make sure you are signed in to the account that owns the points; a guest checkout or a different account may not show the points option at all.
When no promo code is required
Some LEGO offers are automatic. The US LEGO offers page says certain free gifts are available “without the need to track down a LEGO discount code or promotional voucher offer.” In those cases, the correct action is to meet the listed basket conditions, not to search for a code.

How an automatic gift normally works
- Open the current offers page for the country or storefront where you will order.
- Read the individual offer’s qualifying products and minimum merchandise total.
- Add the qualifying item or items to the same LEGO.com bag.
- Check whether the gift appears automatically in the bag or order summary.
- Verify the offer dates, stock statement and exclusions before payment.
Automatic does not mean universal. An offer can be automatic only for a specified region, time window, channel, merchandise category or membership status. If the gift is not visible, do not substitute a coupon found on an unrelated website; first confirm that every listed condition is met on the official local offers page.
How to redeem a LEGO gift card
A gift card does not use the Insiders reward-code field. On LEGO US checkout, the gift-card instructions say to go to Step 2, expand Gift Card, and enter the card number and PIN. For an e-gift card, retrieve the PIN from the email that delivered the card.
- Proceed to checkout with your items.
- At Step 2, expand the Gift Card section.
- Enter the gift-card number.
- Enter the PIN.
- Apply it and confirm the balance or order total changes before paying.
If you are trying to use a gift card, entering its number in Enter Promo Code is the wrong path. Gift-card instructions can be storefront-specific, so use the payment help for the country in which the order is being placed.
Read the offer terms before troubleshooting
LEGO promotions can differ on every condition that matters at checkout. Check the exact terms attached to your offer for:
- Region and storefront: A US offer may not apply to a Canadian or other country’s LEGO shop.
- Dates: Confirm both the start and end date, including the time zone or local storefront timing if shown.
- Stock: A gift can be limited by availability even while the promotion page remains visible.
- Qualifying products: Some sets, themes, bundles, sale items, preorders or Pick a Brick items may be excluded.
- Merchandise threshold: The required total may apply only to eligible merchandise, not tax, shipping, fees or gift-card value.
- Membership: An Insiders sign-in may be required for a reward or points saving.
- Combination rules: The terms may prohibit combining the offer with another promotion or discount.
- Application timing: LEGO’s US terms include examples where an offer cannot be applied retroactively after an order is submitted.
Do not infer a general LEGO discount rule from one promotion. The terms for the specific offer control. A promotion can have a lower qualifying total in one country, a different end date in another, or a different rule for sets already on sale. Save or screenshot the terms if you need to contact support later, but always rely on the current local page.
Why a LEGO promo code may not work
The offer is automatic, not code-based
If the page describes a free gift that is automatically applied, there may be no valid code. Add the qualifying products and inspect the bag instead of trying random codes.
You entered the wrong type of credential
Insiders reward codes belong in Enter Promo Code; gift cards require the separate Gift Card section; points are selected through My Bag or secure checkout. Moving a gift-card PIN or points balance into the promo-code box will not convert it into a discount.

The reward was not added to the bag
For a code-bearing Insiders reward, return to the reward page, select the reward and add it to the bag before starting checkout. Copying a code without selecting the reward does not follow LEGO’s stated redemption sequence.

Recheck the eligible products and merchandise total. A threshold can be calculated on qualifying merchandise only, and excluded items may not count toward it. Remove excluded products temporarily or build a test basket containing only clearly eligible items, then review the result.
The promotion has expired or stock has ended
Compare the current date with the offer’s published dates and look for a stock limitation. A code or gift that worked during an earlier window is not evidence that the same promotion remains active.
The offer is not available in your region or channel
Confirm that you are shopping on the local LEGO storefront covered by the terms. A US promotion should not be treated as a worldwide offer, and a local-store or other-channel promotion may not transfer to LEGO.com checkout.
You are trying to combine incompatible savings
LEGO’s promotion terms can prohibit combinations. Remove the other code or automatic promotion, then test the intended offer on its own. Remember that the one-reward-code limit still applies even if another type of saving appears compatible.
You expected a retroactive adjustment
Some terms state that an offer cannot be applied after an order has already been placed. Check the total and promotion line before submitting payment rather than relying on customer service to add it later.
The code still fails after the terms are satisfied
The available LEGO guidance does not provide a universal error-by-error list. If the code remains invalid after you have checked the reward type, account, dates, region, qualifying basket, stock and combination rules, use the specific offer terms and contact LEGO customer service. Avoid repeatedly placing orders while hoping the discount will appear.

Can a LEGO.com promo code be used on Amazon?
No. A LEGO.com promo code is intended for the LEGO storefront and its checkout. Amazon has a separate cart, payment system and promotion rules, so an Enter Promo Code value from LEGO.com cannot be pasted into Amazon checkout. If you choose to buy LEGO building sets from Amazon, check Amazon’s own price, coupon and shipping terms instead. Availability and eligibility for a particular set can differ from LEGO.com.
Current US example: why dates and region matter
When the US LEGO offers page was checked on October 13, 2026, it displayed offers dated October 13–19, 2026. One listed gift required at least $180 in qualifying LEGO merchandise. That amount described one temporary US offer; it is not a standing LEGO-wide threshold and does not establish the requirement for other promotions or countries.

Frequently overlooked details
A code is not proof that an offer is active
Codes can be tied to a particular reward, time period, account or storefront. The existence of a code in an old message or saved note does not override the current offer terms.
The order total can change after qualifying items are removed
If you delete or substitute a qualifying set, the basket may fall below the required merchandise total or lose the product that triggered the gift. Recheck the offer line after every substantial basket change.
Shipping promotions are separate from product promotions
Free shipping conditions can have their own geography, eligible-merchandise definition and exclusions. Meeting a set-purchase requirement does not automatically satisfy a shipping promotion, and vice versa.
Changing storefronts can change the offer
Switching from one country’s LEGO site to another can change currency, delivery eligibility, points treatment, gift-card acceptance and promotion terms. Start on the storefront that can deliver to your address and read that site’s offer details.

What to do if you need help
Use the help or terms page attached to the exact offer first, because it contains the applicable dates, exclusions and redemption method. If those conditions are satisfied and the checkout still rejects the code or omits the promised gift, contact LEGO customer service with the offer name, your storefront, the account status, the basket contents and the exact message shown at checkout. Do not provide payment details in a public forum.

The points option appears only when you are signed in to the eligible account with enough points. Open My Bag and continue to Checkout Securely; LEGO also says the points choice can be selected or changed after entering shipping and contact details.
