This creates a grouping heading that expands on hover. The heading itself is not clickable and does not open a page.
How do you make the dropdown title clickable?
Use a page as the parent instead of adding a standalone dropdown. Choose an existing page or create one, then drag the child pages or links underneath it. Position them to the right of the parent so they appear nested beneath its page icon.

The parent page title becomes the dropdown title, and clicking it opens that page. This is the right setup when the category needs its own landing page as well as a menu of related destinations.

How do you reorder or remove nested items?
To change the order, drag pages or links by their six-dot handles into the desired position in Pages and navigation. To make a nested item standalone, open its settings wheel and choose Move out from dropdown. The item remains in navigation; it is not deleted. Deleting the dropdown also leaves its assigned pages or links as individual items.

How do you change the dropdown background?
If Transparent Header is enabled, the dropdown background also appears transparent. To use a solid background, turn off that setting in the header settings and choose a header background color; the dropdown uses that color too.
Why might the dropdown not work in editor preview?
Links, including dropdown menus, may be blocked in the editor and preview because some destinations may not technically exist until the site is published or updated. Publish or update the website before treating a preview failure as a live-menu problem. If the menu still fails on the published site, check that the intended pages or links are nested under the correct dropdown or parent page.

Why is a page missing from the menu?
Only pages under Main navigation appear in the menu bar; pages under Hidden from navigation do not. Hiding a page from navigation does not make it private: visitors may still reach it by URL, and search engines may index it. To keep it out of search results, use the page’s SEO settings.
