Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Add the logo to the OBS scene as an Image source, put it above the looping video in the Sources list, then size and position it in the preview. The logo is a separate visual layer: it does not set the stream resolution, frame rate, or bitrate. Configure those separately for 4K at 60 fps, then test the stream in YouTube Live Control Room before going public.
Add the logo to the OBS scene
- Open the scene that carries your loop. Keep the logo in that scene so it appears over the video while the loop plays.
- Add an Image source. In OBS, add an Image source and select the logo file. OBS documents Image sources in its Knowledge Base; exact interface labels can differ by installed version.
- Put the logo above the video source. In the Sources list, move the Image source higher than the loop/video source. Sources above the video are visible over it.
- Size and position it in the preview. Keep the logo within the picture area, clear of important text and focal details, and not so close to an edge that it feels crowded. These are composition choices, not YouTube requirements.
- Keep it separate from the loop file. A separate source lets you move, resize, hide, or replace the logo without editing the underlying video.
Set OBS output for 4K at 60 fps
The image overlay does not make a stream 4K or 60 fps. Set the OBS canvas and output to 3840 × 2160 and 60 fps only if your video source and computer can sustain them. YouTube’s encoder guidance lists the following bitrate recommendations for 2160p at 60 fps:

| Video codec | Recommended bitrate | Minimum bitrate |
|---|---|---|
| AV1 or H.265 (HEVC) | 35 Mbps | 10 Mbps |
| H.264 | 50 Mbps | 14 Mbps |
These figures are YouTube’s published guidance, not interchangeable targets: use the row for the codec your OBS encoder and hardware support. YouTube recommends CBR (constant bitrate), a 2-second keyframe interval, and no more than 4 seconds between keyframes. It recommends RTMPS for the connection. Its encoder guidance says 2160p streams use normal latency; the low-latency option is unavailable at that resolution. See YouTube’s encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions for current values, which may change.
YouTube detects encoder settings automatically by default. A custom stream key allows manual resolution settings. YouTube also transcodes live streams into multiple formats for viewers, so the output viewers receive can differ from your encoder’s input.

Preview and test before going public
- Open YouTube Live Control Room and check the incoming stream preview.
- Test the logo against representative parts of the loop, including scenes with motion, bright and dark areas, and any on-screen text.
- Check both video and audio, and monitor stream health before starting the public broadcast.
- If the preview does not show the logo, confirm that the Image source is visible and layered above the loop/video source in the active scene.
YouTube’s live streaming tips describe encoder streams as a way to stream gameplay and overlays. Keep the test focused on the actual scene and output you plan to broadcast.
Common problems and fixes
- The logo is hidden behind the loop. Move its Image source above the video source in the Sources list.
- The logo is missing from the preview. Check that the Image source is visible, points to the intended file, and belongs to the scene currently being sent to YouTube.
- The stream is not 4K or 60 fps. Check OBS canvas and output settings, the selected encoder settings, and YouTube’s incoming stream preview. The logo source does not control output resolution or frame rate.
- The stream health is poor or the connection struggles. Confirm that the selected codec’s bitrate is within YouTube’s guidance and that the computer and upload connection can sustain the chosen output. Reduce the output settings if the system cannot maintain them reliably.
- The image covers important content or sits too close to an edge. Resize or reposition it in the preview; there is no single required corner or size.
Or let it run in the cloud
If your goal is a continuous prerecorded YouTube stream, StreamNeo is an alternative to keeping an OBS computer running. Upload the video, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live; StreamNeo loops uploaded videos from the cloud. You can leave your home computer off, use any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and StreamNeo automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. It does not go live from a camera and streams to YouTube only.
