To pause a Zap before it takes a website screenshot, add Delay by Zapier → Delay For immediately before the screenshot action. Set the wait amount and unit, then connect the screenshot step after it. If the page itself needs more time to render during capture, check for a wait option in the screenshot integration too; that is different from pausing the whole Zap.
How to add a fixed delay before a screenshot

Open the Zap and add an action immediately before the website screenshot action.

Search for Delay and select the Zapier Delay tool.

In the event selector, choose Delay For.

Enter the duration in Time Delayed For (value) and select the unit in Time Delayed For (unit). The value can be a fixed number or mapped from an earlier step.

Connect the screenshot action after the delay, and map its website URL as required by that integration.

Test the delay and inspect the run timing before turning on the Zap. Zapier documents a minimum delay of one minute and a maximum hold of 30 days. Zapier’s Delay guide describes the action and its limits.
Choose the right kind of wait

Zapier’s Delay documentation notes that Delay For is not a reliable way to stagger a burst of runs: multiple delayed actions can resume together. Queue spacing is the more suitable timing model for that problem.

Check for a screenshot-level wait
If the aim is to capture a page after it has rendered, first inspect the selected screenshot action’s fields in the live Zap editor. The GetScreenshot Zapier listing has an Add an additional wait for extended load times field. The Screenshot API action lists Delay (in milliseconds). These settings apply to capture behavior, unlike a Delay For step before the action; confirm the exact behavior and units in the integration you use.
Limits and failure cases

The Zap must remain on. If a delayed run is due while the Zap is off, actions after the delay will not run, even if you turn the Zap back on later. Delay pauses actions, not triggers. See Zapier’s Delay guide and Zapier’s guidance on delayed runs.

Changing the Zap can interrupt a waiting run. Zapier says a run delayed when the Zap is changed will not continue when it resumes. Account for pending delayed runs before editing the workflow.

A Delay Until time may already have passed. Zapier provides configurable handling for past dates; its documented default is “Continue if it’s up to one day.”

Queue intervals are not guaranteed exact spacing. Elapsed time can differ from the configured interval, and slowdowns or replays can cause steps to overlap.

A workflow pause may not fix a page-load issue. If the target page is still incomplete when captured, look for the screenshot provider’s own wait control rather than assuming a separate Zap delay changes how the capture loads the page.
