To add up to 11 additional guests or camera angles to a Streamlabs Desktop Collab Cam stream, Streamlabs says you need Streamlabs Ultra. The free Desktop version includes one guest. In Desktop, add a Collab Cam source, start it, send guests the generated link, check their feeds, and select Show on Stream for each person you want viewers to see. Streamlabs describes the Ultra capacity as 11 additional guests; another Streamlabs article refers to all 12 Collab Cam slots, so do not read “11” as 11 total people including the host.

These are plan-capacity statements, not a guarantee that every computer or connection will handle 11 simultaneous feeds smoothly. Add guests in Streamlabs Desktop
- Add the source: Open Streamlabs Desktop. In Sources, click the plus sign, choose Collab Cam, and add the source.
- Start Collab Cam: Open the Collab Cam source and select Start Collab Cam.
- Invite your guests: Copy the generated link and send it privately to each intended guest. Streamlabs says guests can join through a browser.
- Review each feed: Let guests connect, then check their video before including them in the broadcast.
- Put a guest on stream: Select Show on Stream for each guest you want the audience to see. Repeat for the rest of the group.
- Arrange the scene: Size and position the feeds to suit your layout. Test the full scene before the event; Streamlabs’ guides do not specify a recommended layout for 11 guests.

Check guest audio and protect the invite link
- Confirm audience audio: Hearing a guest in the host’s setup does not necessarily mean viewers can hear them. Streamlabs suggests adding an extra microphone source if the audience is not receiving the guest audio. Check the broadcast audio from an audience-side device before the discussion starts.
- Keep invitations private: Streamlabs advises sharing the Collab Cam link only with people you know and trust. Treat it as access to the guest flow, not as a public announcement link.
- Regenerate a questionable link: If the invite link may have been exposed or sent to the wrong person, generate a new one and distribute the replacement only to the intended guests.
- Avoid exposing setup on a live screen share: Streamlabs advises not to share your screen while setting up Collab Cam if you are already live.
- Follow destination-platform rules: Guests must comply with the rules of the platform carrying the broadcast.
Use Collab Cam on a phone or tablet
Streamlabs also documents Collab Cam in Streamlabs Mobile for iOS and Android. Its Mobile guide, last updated December 9, 2025, describes creating or choosing a scene, adding a guest layer, naming the guest, and sharing a join link. The host can adjust the guest’s placement and audio/video settings, and can copy or regenerate the link. Guests may join before the stream starts or while it is already live. The exact navigation differs between iOS and Android, so follow the matching platform section of the Streamlabs Mobile Collab Cam guide rather than expecting identical button labels on both.

Troubleshoot common Collab Cam problems
