What does each move do?
Spinning Throw: choose a single throw or a barrage
A tap produces one throw, while holding the same move produces a longer sequence of six rapid throws followed by a final heavy throw. The reported slow applies when the single thrown temari hits; it should not be assumed to affect a target on a miss.

Tamari Dunk sends the player upward before a downward throw. The reported impact creates a crater and stuns targets caught in it, with an explosion following after a delay. The available descriptions do not specify the stun duration or blast timing.

Piercing Kick: confirm the kick before the follow-up
The kick is the opening action. Press again only after it connects to produce the bouncing temari follow-up; the described showcase shows a detonation on the third bounce. The sequence is conditional, not a guaranteed follow-up if the first kick misses.
Tamari Meteor: direct the descent with cursor placement
Meteor launches targets and sends them toward the location indicated by the cursor. Cursor placement therefore matters to where the target comes down; it is not simply another forward projectile throw.

Spiraling Shot: a separate kicked projectile
Spiraling Shot sends a spinning temari forward with a kick. A hit is described as drilling into and lifting the target before the projectile detonates. This is distinct from Meteor’s cursor-directed launch.

How does Tamari play?
The kit reads as ranged and projectile-focused, with reported crowd-control effects. A landed tap throw can slow; Dunk can stun targets caught in its impact; Meteor and Spiraling Shot can launch or lift targets. That suggests a rhythm of poking at range, confirming a hit, then choosing a follow-up suited to the opening. It is an interpretation of the described mechanics—not a tested optimal combo, guaranteed sequence, or universal PvP strategy.

Two moves particularly reward attention to sequencing: wait to confirm the Piercing Kick connects before pressing again, and use cursor placement deliberately for Meteor. Spinning Throw’s tap and hold are different versions of the same move, so try them separately to learn their timing in the current build.
How are Tamari skills unlocked?
PlayerTome’s unofficial guide, updated October 2, 2026, describes this progression: become a Demon, obtain a Tamari Orb through Muzan’s power roll or chest loot, use the Orb to begin Tamari Core Training, complete Cup Training, Push ups, Boulder Split, and Defeat Mizunotos in that order, then unlock individual techniques in the Tamari skill-tree branch. In that account, obtaining the Orb and completing training are separate from unlocking each move. Treat these steps as guide-reported and check the live game for current progression requirements.

What is not established about the moves?
The available guides do not establish numerical damage, cooldowns, exact hotkeys, independently verified live-game timings, stun duration, or guaranteed combos. NerdsChalk’s moveset guide was updated August 27, 2026. The separate Project Slayers 2 wiki page, updated September 8, 2026, says its mechanics are based on an Ouw Productions showcase dated August 26, 2026, and describes a pre-release build. Neither is an official current control manual, so verify controls and patch-sensitive behavior in game.
