Pariuri Si Jocuri, a Romania-based iGaming website that promotes safe iGaming platforms, uses Clockify to log employee hours, turn tracked billable time into client charges, and review reports when it plans quarterly budgets. The most detailed account is a Clockify customer story on Pariuri Si Jocuri that quotes Project Coordinator Adrian Matieș. It describes a workflow and the team’s own view of its benefits. It does not measure productivity, and the page does not state a publication date.
The problem the team was trying to solve
According to the customer story, the company has nine employees. Matieș says the team had trouble seeing who was working on which project, and which work was finished and which was still in progress. After the team moved to remote work, it looked for a straightforward way to log hours. He also recalls frustration with the earlier tools and with the effort needed to set up task blocks and enter information. The team had used Trello before adopting Clockify. That comparison reflects Matieș’s experience as a user, not a structured evaluation.

How the team started and what it added
The team did not adopt every feature at once. It began with time tracking alone. In Matieș’s words:
“We started small, just using Clockify to track time spent on work. Our IT staff were very satisfied with it, so it made sense for the entire team to adopt it. Now we use it for invoicing, reminders, reports, and team management.”

The story does not give dates for each stage, so readers should treat the sequence as the order in which the team described its adoption, not a timeline they can reproduce.
Tracking time across projects
The workflow Matieș describes centres on the timer and the timesheet. Based on that description, a team following the same approach would do the following:
- Start the timer when work begins on a project, and track time across several projects in the same day.
- Review the resulting timesheet entries, which the story describes as organised by project and by workweek.
- Write a short description of each day’s tasks so that every entry explains what was done.
- Label each entry as billable or non-billable.
The last step matters for everything that comes after it. The invoicing and budgeting use cases described in the story both depend on those labels being accurate.

“Knowing how much time we spend on billable projects helps us calculate how much we should charge clients and what we can invoice.”
On Clockify’s product page, which the customer story links to, invoicing is described as a way to import time and expenses for a selected date range or enter them manually. Invoice records can be filtered by sent, paid, and void status. These are product descriptions. The customer story does not say which plans include invoicing, so confirm your plan’s features before building a process around them.
Using reports to plan quarterly budgets
The team reviews reports and charts when it sets quarterly budgets. The customer story names three report types:
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →- Expense reports
- Attendance reports
- Assignments reports, which compare estimated time with tracked time
The story describes these reports as ways to inspect expenses, schedules, and estimated versus tracked time, without mapping each report to one of those uses. Matieș put the purpose this way:

What the customer story does and does not establish
The table separates what the source reports from what it cannot support.
| Claim | What the customer story supports | What is not established |
|---|---|---|
| The team needed better visibility and simpler hour logging | Matieș’s account of its situation after moving to remote work | No before-and-after measurement |
| The team expanded from time tracking to invoicing, reminders, reports, and team management | Matieș’s description of current use | Adoption dates and plan tiers not stated |
| Reports help plan quarterly budgets | The team’s statement about its planning process | No budget results or accuracy figures reported |
| Billable hours help calculate client charges | The team’s statement about how it uses tracked billable time | No revenue or invoicing outcome reported |
| Clockify improves performance | Only the headline and the team’s general satisfaction | No independent test or quantified productivity result; the headline is promotional |
| Clockify is better than Trello | Nothing beyond one user’s recollection of earlier use | No feature, price, or controlled comparison |
Applying the same approach to your own team
The customer story supports a workflow, not a guaranteed result. If you want to test a similar setup, these checks follow from the story’s own details:
- Decide which problem comes first. The team in the story wanted visibility into work before it used invoicing and budgeting features.
- Start with the group that will use the tool daily. In the story, the IT staff’s satisfaction is what led to company-wide adoption.
- Agree on the billable and non-billable definitions before the first entry, because invoices and budget reports depend on them.
- Check which features your plan includes, particularly invoicing and reports, since the story does not specify this.
- Record your own baseline, such as hours spent on administration or the time between a finished project and its invoice, so you can judge results for your team rather than relying on the vendor’s account.
Clockify is one of several tools a team can use for this kind of tracking. Pariuri Si Jocuri’s experience is a useful example of how a small, remote team organised its time records, but it is a single vendor-published account.
