Its Reliability Intelligence feature diagnoses failed reliability tests using test results and service context; it offers guidance, not a guarantee that an issue will be fixed or that an incident will be prevented.
What Foresight AI does
Gremlin presents Foresight AI as a suite for assessing reliability, surfacing risks, recommending improvements, and following reliability changes over time. Its Reliability Intelligence product page describes recommendations tailored to test results, service type, and environment context, with step-by-step guidance and an option to rerun a failed test after making a change.

That distinction matters: the product can explain a result and suggest a response, but the documented workflow does not mean Gremlin automatically applies every fix. A team still needs to decide whether a recommendation is appropriate, make the change, and validate the result.
How Reliability Intelligence diagnoses a failed test
Gremlin’s documentation says Reliability Intelligence can consider the test type, service type, Health Check errors, and unusual events during a test. Those signals give a team more context than a pass-or-fail status alone, but they do not establish that every possible cause will be found.

Gremlin’s Kubernetes memory example
Gremlin illustrates the feature with a Kubernetes Memory Scalability test. In its example, an out-of-memory kill terminates a pod and errors increase. Suggested responses include increasing the replica count or reserving more memory. These are options for that illustrative scenario, not universal fixes: teams need to check their workload, resource limits, and service architecture before changing capacity.
From diagnosis to a validated retest
- Review the test result and diagnosis. Check the failed test, relevant service context, Health Check errors, and unusual events surfaced by Reliability Intelligence.
- Assess the suggested action. Compare the recommendation with the service’s actual configuration and operational constraints; do not treat a suggestion as an automatically applied change.
- Make an approved change. Apply the remediation through the team’s normal change and safety processes.
- Rerun the failed test. Gremlin’s product page describes rerunning a test after a fix so the team can assess whether the change addressed the tested failure mode.
A successful rerun is evidence about the scenario that was tested; it is not proof that every related failure mode has been eliminated.

How Health Checks fit into the safety loop
Health Checks are part of Gremlin’s broader reliability-testing workflow, not a guarantee supplied by an AI recommendation. Gremlin’s documentation overview describes checks before, during, and after tests, and says an unhealthy check can halt a test. This helps teams monitor service state while testing; it does not establish that every incident can be detected or prevented.
Dashboards for tracking reliability work
Gremlin documents natural-language dashboard creation in its Foresight AI Dashboards documentation. Examples include dashboards showing reliability scores and detected risks over a month, failed experiments with diagnoses, or test statuses by service for a week. Users can save dashboards for their team. These views can make test outcomes and changes easier to review over time, but dashboard visibility depends on the data and access available in the customer’s Gremlin environment.

What to know about AI access and customer data
Gremlin says Reliability Intelligence is enabled by default. Separately, it describes access to LLMs for more detailed diagnoses and recommendations as optional, with a setting to turn that access on or off. Gremlin says it does not send customer data to LLM or AI services without consent and does not use customer data to train LLMs. These are the company’s stated data-use assurances; confirm the current setting and terms that apply to your account with Gremlin.

The reviewed Gremlin materials do not establish a precise price, plan entitlement, or feature availability for a particular customer. The pricing page presents Foresight AI among Gremlin’s offerings, but teams should confirm current pricing, rollout status, deployment constraints, and account-specific access directly with Gremlin before evaluating or purchasing it.

Gremlin’s homepage also presents customer examples, including a reported 50% downtime reduction for a major US insurer and a reported 90% reduction in disaster-recovery testing time for a top-five global bank. The page extract gives no year, study design, baseline, sample, or causal method for those examples. They should be read as vendor-reported marketing claims, not independent evidence that another organization will achieve the same results.
