Launch strategist Alex Beadon says her team uses Clockify to make its work visible: they categorize time by project and task, review reports for patterns, and use a calendar view to understand schedules across time zones. Clockify’s customer story connects that workflow with Beadon’s four-day workweek, but it does not establish that the software alone created the schedule or independently prove a productivity gain.
Why Beadon’s team tracks its time
Beadon runs Together We Launch, a six-month program for course creators. Clockify’s customer story describes her team as having 1–10 employees. Beadon says time tracking addressed a visibility problem: “Before we started tracking our time, we had no visibility of where our time was going. But how can you be efficient if you have no visibility?”

In the account, tracking is a way to see where work goes and discuss what to do about problems. Beadon says, “We use Clockify to see where our time is going and how to solve any problems. It’s just so beneficial.” This is her description of the team’s practice, not evidence from a controlled test.

1. Categorize work with projects and tasks
The team logs time against projects and more specific tasks. Beadon gives the example of a project called “Development, Collaboration, and Press” with an “Interviews” task beneath it. That structure lets her review interview time over a longer period: “So, at the end of the year, I can check how much time I spent on interviews.”

2. Use reports to review allocation
The story says reports let the team view time by project, user, or date range. Beadon says the color-coded reports help the team see how its time is allocated and identify where a discussion may be needed. She offers one illustration: “Okay, this week we spent 21,8% of our time on content creation.” The story does not identify which week or provide the underlying report, so this is an example she recounts—not a benchmark, dated statistic, or independently verified result.
3. Use the calendar to see work rhythms
Beadon says she sometimes works early in the morning, returns later in the afternoon, and takes a substantial break in between. She describes visibility into those blocks as useful for understanding her routine: “But just having visibility around that is helpful to understanding how you work.”

The customer story also says the team spans time zones and presents the calendar view as useful for scheduling around that. Reports serve retrospective questions about where time went; the calendar makes work timing more visible for planning and coordination.

Clockify’s story presents Beadon’s team as working a four-day week alongside this time-visibility workflow. It is one vendor-hosted customer account. It does not show that Clockify alone caused the schedule, establish that the team became more productive, or demonstrate that the same arrangement will work for other teams.

The practical takeaway is narrower: Beadon describes using project and task categories, reports, and calendar visibility to understand work allocation and coordinate schedules.
