Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Aftershock’s Cherry Bloom is a custom gaming PC with 70 miniature cherry blossoms that the manufacturer says physically open as the system warms and return to rest as it cools. The flowers are made from hand-painted, temperature-reactive titanium alloy; Aftershock says the effect uses neither motors nor lighting tricks. The exact temperature that triggers the movement has not been disclosed in the reviewed coverage.
How the Cherry Bloom effect works
Aftershock describes 70 individually formed, hand-painted blossoms made from a special titanium alloy that reacts to heat and cooling. As the PC warms, the blossoms begin to open; as it cools, they return to rest. In the manufacturer’s words, the flowers “bring[] the tree inside your PC to life every time you play.” (Aftershock’s Cherry Bloom page)

The movement is presented as a physical response of the alloy, rather than an animated image, motorized mechanism or lighting effect. Aftershock’s page includes an animated temperature demonstration and a short build video, but those show the manufacturer’s presentation of the effect, not independent thermal measurements or reliability testing. Notebookcheck reported that the opening temperature was unclear, so the blossoms should not be treated as a precise temperature gauge. (Notebookcheck)

The current Aftershock showcase page describes a system with a ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5080 SOLID OC White Edition, a Ryzen 9 9950X3D-class processor, a NOVACORE chassis with 270-degree seamless glass, and a custom hardline water-cooling loop. Those are the specifications presented on the current showcase page; the processor differs from the one reported in launch-era coverage.

Aftershock’s ready-to-ship listing, as surfaced in search on October 7, 2026, and reports published September 23 and 24, 2026, described a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 5080, 64GB of RAM and a 2TB Lexar SSD. Because the current showcase description and those earlier listing details do not agree on the processor, they should not be combined into a single definitive parts list. Confirm the live listing for the exact configuration being offered. (Notebookcheck)
Price and availability depend on the listing date
September 2026 coverage and the indexed ready-to-ship listing gave a price of AUD $19,995. Notebookcheck described shipping as local only. These are launch-era listing details, not a confirmed current price or shipping promise: the current showcase page does not state either, and availability can change. Check Aftershock’s current listing and delivery terms before making a purchase decision. (Notebookcheck)

What the available evidence does—and does not—show
The defining feature is an unusual physical display effect built into a high-end custom desktop. The manufacturer provides the blossom count, material description, mechanism explanation and current showcase configuration; September 2026 reporting adds context about an earlier ready-to-ship specification and price.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- No exact activation temperature is established.
- The manufacturer’s demonstration is not an independent durability or reliability test.
- The reviewed sources provide no controlled gaming benchmarks for this system, so they do not establish that it outperforms another RTX 5080 desktop.
- Acoustics, long-term blossom behavior and current delivery geography are not established by the reviewed material.
For a buyer, that means the blossoms are best understood as bespoke case craftsmanship, not a tested thermal indicator. Evaluate the PC’s current component list, warranty and support terms separately from the visual feature.
