Choose Hostinger Reach if you want AI-assisted campaign creation and a workflow centered on Hostinger; choose Mailchimp if you need a wider integration catalog or more elaborate, plan-dependent automations. Neither is a universal winner: compare your audience size, monthly sends, required connections and current regional price before committing.
How do Reach and Mailchimp differ?
Reach is positioned around creating email campaigns with AI assistance, applying brand styling and managing campaigns within Hostinger’s ecosystem. Mailchimp is a broader marketing platform with email campaigns, customer journeys and a documented catalog of more than 300 integrations. These are vendor-described capabilities, not the result of a controlled comparison of ease of use, deliverability or campaign performance.

Which service fits your workflow?
Reach suits a Hostinger-centered campaign process
Reach’s product page describes AI-assisted copy and layout creation, brand styling, campaign ideas, engagement reporting and audience targeting. It also lists subscribe forms, contact imports, API contact sync, unsubscribe handling and compliance-related controls. Use it as a candidate if those campaign tasks and Hostinger ecosystem connections meet your needs; do not assume the advertised tools guarantee better results.

Mailchimp suits businesses that rely on other services
Mailchimp’s documented integrations can pass account and customer information between services. Its examples include online stores and social accounts, which may help build audiences and target campaigns; the exact data and actions depend on the integration. Mailchimp also describes customer journeys, prebuilt automations, templates, landing pages, digital ads, reporting, analytics, recommendations, A/B testing, a mobile app and webhooks. Availability can vary by plan.
How much audience and sending capacity do you need?
Reach lists its monthly subscriber and email limits by plan. The Free allowance lasts one year; the page does not make that a permanent free tier. The paid limits below are capacity figures, not prices. Confirm the current plan and offer in your regional checkout before buying.

How should you compare automation needs?
A simple welcome email or follow-up sequence may fit Reach’s documented automations, which use steps and delays. If your campaigns need multiple paths based on customer actions or other conditions, examine Mailchimp’s plan-level workflow limits closely: Essentials lists flows of up to four steps, while Standard and Premium list up to 200 steps and multiple branching points. Those are plan descriptions, not a promise that a particular journey will suit your setup.
Mailchimp’s pricing comparison also varies by tier in areas such as integrations, support, seats and generative AI. Verify the plan details for your account rather than assuming a feature listed for the platform is included at every level.
What will each service actually cost?
There is no reliable apples-to-apples price without matching region, contact count, monthly send volume and billing period. Reach’s help page lists paid capacity tiers, but the price shown can vary by market and offer. Mailchimp says its pricing, terms and services may change. Compare the live checkout totals for plans that cover the same audience and sending needs; do not compare a temporary starting offer with a different tier or billing term.
What should you check before switching?
Before migrating, map the data and connections that your campaigns depend on, not just the headline subscriber count.
Best Value
- Confirm you can export and import contacts, and preserve suppression and opt-out status.
- List every store, CRM, form, analytics tool or other service that feeds your campaigns. Verify its current support in the platform you plan to use.
- Compare how each service counts contacts. Mailchimp notes that a contact appearing in more than one audience may count more than once.
- Rebuild and test important automations, links and signup flows before ending the old service.
- Check the plan’s contact and monthly sending caps against your expected growth, not just this month’s list.
Mailchimp’s contact and pricing details are on its plan comparison page; integration behavior is described in its integration help.
Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Consider Reach if AI-assisted campaign drafting and a Hostinger-centered setup match how you work, your list and send volume fit its caps, and you do not depend on unsupported third-party integrations.
- Consider Mailchimp if your workflow depends on connected services or you need more complex, branching automations and can select a plan whose limits and price fit your audience.
- Compare both before deciding if price is the main factor: match region, billing period, contact tier and monthly send volume, then verify the live totals and included features.
