hPanel gives you a workable route to routine hosting tasks, but the path depends on your site type. To manage a site, sign in, open Websites, and select Dashboard beside that site. Hostinger’s current documentation says the hosting dashboard does not apply to AI Builder sites, which use different tools. Everything below is based on Hostinger’s official help documentation as reviewed in early October 2026. It describes the interface as Hostinger documents it, not how it performs in day-to-day use.
What hPanel is
Hostinger describes hPanel as a personalized space for managing Hostinger services. In its Help Center article “How to Access the Dashboard in Hostinger,” the company puts it this way: “hPanel is a personalized space where you can manage your Hostinger services.” It combines a hosting dashboard with account and billing information in one browser-based interface.

The main sidebar is organized into Home, Websites, Domains, Emails, VPS, Billing, and Marketplace. Account functions sit in the account menu in the upper-right corner. Which sections you see depends on the Hostinger services on your account, so a reader on a domain-only or email-only account will not see the same layout as a reader with several hosting plans.

How to open your site’s dashboard
Most site-level work starts in the same place. Hostinger’s access guide describes this sequence:
#1 Best Overall
- Go to Hostinger and sign in with your email and password, or with a social login if your account is configured for one.
- If two-factor authentication is enabled, enter the verification code it sends.
- In the sidebar, select Websites.
- Find the site you want and select Dashboard beside it.
Hostinger recommends turning on two-factor authentication. You can manage it from the account menu under Security, which is also where the two-factor settings sit.
Websites: what you see depends on the platform
The Websites area collects every site attached to a hosting plan and offers shortcuts that match each site’s platform. Hostinger’s current Websites guide describes shortcuts such as WordPress admin access and a dashboard route. The comparison below separates the platform types that Hostinger documents.
| Site type | What the Websites area offers | Dashboard behavior |
|---|---|---|
| PHP/HTML, WordPress, other CMS, or Node.js on Web, Cloud, or Agency hosting | Dashboard route and platform shortcuts, including WordPress admin access where applicable | Uses the hosting dashboard, which shows site information and shortcuts to the database, backups, File Manager, cache, and hosting-plan details |
| AI Builder website in manual mode | An editor button and a dashboard view | Does not use the hosting dashboard. The dashboard view shows domain and email status, Reach status, an analytics summary, and an onboarding checklist |
Hosting dashboard for supported sites
For PHP/HTML, WordPress, other CMS, and Node.js sites on Web, Cloud, and Agency hosting, the hosting dashboard is the main working area. It gives you a single page with the site’s details and direct links to the tools you are most likely to need: the database, backups, File Manager, cache, and information about your hosting plan. Hostinger documents these as the dashboard’s essentials; the guide does not describe every sub-page in the same level of detail.

AI Builder sites
If your site was built with AI Builder, do not expect the hosting dashboard. Hostinger says these sites use different capabilities. In manual mode, the Websites entry gives you an editor button and a dashboard that focuses on the domain and email connection, Reach status, a short analytics summary, and an onboarding checklist. If you need file-level or database-level tools, check whether your site type offers them before assuming they are in the same place.
Domains
The Domains section lists two kinds of domain: domains registered with Hostinger, and external domains you have added to a hosting plan. Opening a domain shows its management view, which can display:
- Status and expiration date
- Auto-renewal setting
- Privacy protection
- Transfer lock
- Authorization code
- Nameservers and contact information
DNS records can be edited from this view when the domain points to Hostinger. If the domain has expired, Hostinger says the management page is disabled, so renewal is the first step to regain access to the other settings. For an external domain, check where its nameservers point before you look for DNS controls, because the DNS tools are only available when the domain points to Hostinger.
Rank #3
The Email section’s overview shows the domain linked to your email, the plan expiration date, the plan name, and plan limits such as the number of accounts and the amount of storage. Business Email plans also show renewal and upgrade actions on this page. Use the overview to check limits before you add mailboxes; the documentation does not describe how each limit is enforced.

Billing and account settings
Billing is separate from the site and domain pages. According to Hostinger’s comprehensive guide, it holds your subscriptions, invoices, and saved payment methods. Account activity shows login history, which is useful if you need to confirm who has signed in.
The account menu, in the upper-right corner, covers the remaining account tasks:
- Personal information
- Security and two-factor authentication
- Account sharing
- Account activity
- Notification settings
- Language selection
- Log out
The guide also mentions a Refer & Earn area in the account interface. It does not explain eligibility or payment terms, so check those directly with Hostinger before you rely on them.

Because the documentation describes intended workflows, the most reliable way to judge hPanel is to run the same tasks on your own account. Record your plan and your site type first, since the same task can take a different route on another platform. Then check:
- Whether you can reach your site’s dashboard in the four steps above without searching
- Whether the sidebar sections you need are visible on your plan
- Whether common tasks, such as checking a domain’s renewal date or opening File Manager, require leaving the page you started on
- What the interface shows when something is wrong, such as an expired domain or a locked setting
Results from one account describe that account. They do not show how hPanel looks on every plan or site type.

Limits of this guide
Hostinger’s navigation labels, feature sets, and layouts can change, and some help articles may lag behind the newest dashboard design. The access guide and Websites guide are the most current sources for labels, and you should compare them against your own screen before following a step. Access to any section also depends on the services attached to your account.
The sources cited here are Hostinger’s official help documentation, reviewed in early October 2026. They explain what the interface is designed to do. They do not provide independent measurements of speed, reliability, or ease of use.
