In Hostinger AI Builder’s manual mode, use global text styles to change typography for store fields across the site, or edit a text element locally to change only that element or selected words. Global styles are the efficient choice for consistent store typography, but they also affect any other site text using the same style.
Choose between global styles and local editing
| Method | What it changes | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Global text styles | Every text element across the website that uses the selected heading or paragraph style | Consistent changes to store typography, such as product titles or prices |
| Local text editing | One text element, or only the words you select within it | A targeted adjustment that should not affect matching text elsewhere |
Before changing a global style, check what else uses it. For example, changing Heading 6 to restyle product-list titles also changes other Heading 6 text on the site. Hostinger explains both approaches in its manual-mode text-style guide and maps store fields in its online-store text-style guide.

Find the style assigned to the store text
Product titles do not all use the same style. Identify the area you are editing, then adjust the corresponding global style:

These assignments come from Hostinger’s store-specific manual-mode guide. They are a map to the global style to edit, not a way to isolate the change to that store field.
#1 Best Overall
Change a global style
- In the editor, expand the Styles panel and open the Fonts tab.
- Choose a suggested font pair, or click Edit text styles to customize the styles.
- Select Headings or Paragraphs and navigation, depending on the store field’s assigned style.
- Choose the relevant heading or paragraph style and adjust the available properties, such as weight, size, line height, underline, or capitalization.
- Check the result in the appropriate device view. Hostinger documents separate desktop and mobile behavior: a change made in desktop mode applies to that style on desktop; a change made in mobile mode applies to it on mobile.
Hostinger provides two global font families: one for headings and one for paragraphs and navigation. If a product field uses Heading 3, for example, edit Heading 3 rather than assuming all product titles share one style. For the interface steps, see Hostinger’s guide to changing text styles.

- Select the text element in the editor and choose Edit text.
- Use the text toolbar to make the adjustment. To change only a phrase, select those words before applying formatting.
- For additional controls, open More options. Hostinger lists settings including line height and background color, as well as a Shimmer toggle for an animated glowing effect.
Local editing is the better route when only one item should look different from other text using the same global style. Hostinger also supports uploading custom fonts and applying them locally; the optional process is described in its text-style guide.
Know the shopping-bag limitation
Hostinger’s store guide says the shopping bag does not support changing font-style properties such as size, color, or decoration. Its text uses paragraph style, and the documented font-family adjustment is through global text styles under Paragraphs and navigation. That change can also affect navigation links and other paragraph text throughout the site, so it is not a bag-only control. Hostinger advises updating the website after making changes.
Optional: upload a custom font
You do not need a custom font to adjust the store’s ordinary global styles. If you want to use one for a particular text element, Hostinger’s custom-font instructions give this sequence:
- Select a text element and choose Edit text.
- Open the font dropdown, then select My fonts > Upload.
- Select the text that should use the uploaded typeface and apply that font.
Hostinger says other font formats are normally converted automatically. If conversion fails, its guidance is to check the filename and try a WOFF or WOFF2 file.
