Neither HostArmada nor Hostinger is a clear winner for every website. Hostinger is a good fit if you prefer its custom hPanel and advertised automatic migration; HostArmada stands out on its Start Dock shared plan for NVMe storage and seven daily backups. The available evidence does not include a like-for-like performance test, so choose by plan limits, renewal cost, backup needs, migration work, and interface preference—not an unsupported claim that one host is faster.
How the plans compare
The available plan details are not perfectly matched: Hostinger’s cited pricing page is for the UK and lists prices in pounds, while HostArmada’s Start Dock listing shows US dollars for a selected 36-month billing cycle. The figures below describe those page snapshots, not equivalent offers.

| Hostinger Premium, TechRadar comparison snapshot (February 2026) | $2.49/month on a two-year commitment; $12.19/month renewal, as reported by TechRadar | A dated reviewer example, not a universal or current price for every region. TechRadar shared-hosting comparison. |
| HostArmada Start Dock | $1.99/month on the displayed 36-month selection; listed regular price $9.95/month | 15 GB NVMe storage, 2 CPU cores, 2 GB RAM, one website, and seven daily backups. HostArmada pricing. |
HostArmada’s terms say the initial promotional price applies to the first paid invoice and subsequent invoices are usually at the regular price shown on product pages. Before buying either provider, compare the final checkout total for the same region and billing period, including renewal—not just the headline monthly rate. The HostArmada figure in the table is a US-dollar 36-month selection, so it should not be compared directly with the UK-pound Hostinger prices as if they were equivalent. HostArmada terms.
Backups: check the exact tier and keep your own copy
HostArmada
HostArmada’s Start Dock listing advertises seven daily backups. Its service policy says backups for shared and WordPress hosting are performed on a best-effort basis and that at least one full account backup copy is retained. The policy also places responsibility for independent copies on the customer; a listed backup schedule is not the same as an independent recovery plan. Hostinger
TechRadar’s shared-hosting comparison says Hostinger’s lowest shared plan includes weekly backups, while daily and on-demand backups are available on higher tiers. Confirm the backup frequency for the exact plan you intend to buy. TechRadar shared-hosting comparison.
Migration: free does not mean no setup work
Hostinger
Hostinger advertises free automatic website migration on its plans page. Check the selected plan’s eligibility and the migration workflow before relying on it for a live site. Hostinger plans.

HostArmada
HostArmada’s migration policy covers website files, MySQL databases, and email data. A domain transfer is not included by default. DNS configuration remains the customer’s responsibility, and the company says it cannot guarantee success where factors outside its control—such as restrictions at the current host or incompatible data—interfere. TechRadar reports measurements from its Hostinger test site in 2026: 100% uptime over 10 weeks, a Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) of 0.607 seconds, and 15 requests per second in a test with 20 virtual users. Those figures describe the reviewer’s setup and test period; they are not promises for every Hostinger customer. No equivalent HostArmada result is established here, so these measurements cannot show that Hostinger is faster than HostArmada. TechRadar’s Hostinger review.

Hostinger advertises 24/7 expert support and a 99.9% uptime guarantee on its plans page. TechRadar describes its shared-hosting interface as Hostinger’s custom hPanel rather than cPanel. That may matter if you value a particular control-panel workflow, but the interface alone does not establish site speed or support quality. Hostinger plans and TechRadar review.
HostArmada’s terms describe technical support as a complimentary service and say its support team will try to assist. The cited terms do not provide a comparable response-time or resolution-quality score, so they do not establish which provider has better support. HostArmada terms.
