Secondary reports, citing GizChina (2026), list seven Honor phones as compatible at launch. No official Honor support page or announcement confirming that list was found when this article was written, so treat the device list as reported rather than confirmed.
What Tuning Master is
Tuning Master is described as part of the system software rather than a download you install alongside it. It is reported as a feature of MagicOS 11, the Honor software version that reports place alongside a September 15, 2026 release. Because the controls sit in the system audio layer, they are not tied to one music app; the reporting does not say whether individual third-party players can override them.

The controls
A manual 10-band equalizer
The core control is a 10-band equalizer. Each band adjusts one frequency range, so you can lower a muddy low-mid range or raise the top end without changing the rest of the sound. Reports describe this as manual adjustment of frequency bands, which is the option to use when none of the presets fits what you hear.

One-touch bass and vocal adjustments
Alongside the full equalizer, Tuning Master offers quick controls to boost bass or bring vocals forward. These are shortcuts for two common adjustments, so you do not have to find the right bands yourself.

Five presets
The reported presets are aimed at specific listening situations:
| Preset | Reported purpose |
|---|---|
| Powerful bass | Emphasises low frequencies |
| Clear vocals | Brings the vocal range forward |
| Crisp or enhanced treble | Adds brightness and detail at the top end |
| Energetic background music | Suited to upbeat music played behind other activity |
| Audiobook | A smoother tone for spoken-word listening |
Saved profiles
Reports say you can save custom profiles for particular kinds of content, such as music or movies, and for specific headphone pairs. For a phone used with more than one pair of headphones, that is the main convenience: each pair can keep its own tuning instead of being reset every time you switch.

Presets or manual tuning: how to choose
- Start with a preset if you have a clear goal, such as spoken-word listening or a bass-heavy track, and want a result without adjusting anything.
- Move to the 10-band equalizer when a preset is close but one range sounds wrong for your ears or your headphones.
- Use a saved profile once you have a setting you like and switch between headphones or content types often.
The reporting describes these controls only. No independent listening test, measured frequency response, or claim that Tuning Master improves sound quality has been published, so whether a given setting sounds better is a question for your own ears and headphones. The reports also do not compare Tuning Master with separate equalizer apps or dedicated audio hardware.

The GizChina report is the original source, and later reports repeat its list, so the list should not be read as independent confirmation. Honor is reported to be working on wider support but has not named additional models or a timetable. Do not assume that an unlisted phone will receive the feature. Check your exact model and regional software version against Honor’s official support information before following any device-specific steps.
