A Costa Rican carrier listing gives a concrete example of a local configuration that differs in important ways from HONOR’s regional overview. Kölbi lists 8 GB RAM, 256 GB internal storage, a 1,592 × 720 screen, a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor, and Android 16 with MagicOS 10. These details apply to kölbi’s Costa Rican listing, not necessarily to models sold elsewhere.

Before buying, check the seller’s exact model and local listing for screen resolution, processor, memory, storage, software version, network compatibility and included accessories. HONOR’s “up to 24 GB equivalent” RAM description includes storage used as virtual memory; it should not be treated as a 24 GB physical-memory configuration. Usable storage is also lower than the stated capacity because the operating system and preinstalled software occupy space.

Battery and charging: what the figures mean
HONOR lists a typical battery capacity of 8,100 mAh and a rated capacity of 7,900 mAh for the LATAM model. The two figures are different ways of stating battery capacity, not two separate batteries or a promise that every regional version has the same battery.
The listed wired charging maximum is 45 W. HONOR says reaching that maximum requires an HONOR 45 W charger and cable, and that real charging speed varies. Confirm what is included with the specific regional package rather than assuming the charger comes in the box.

Display and camera claims
Display
HONOR’s LATAM overview lists a 6.87-inch screen and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The “up to” matters: refresh rate can vary according to the app or game. HONOR’s 1,020-nit peak-brightness figure is tied to specified lab and video playback conditions, so it should not be read as a brightness level maintained across all content or circumstances.
Rear camera
The product page advertises a 108 MP rear camera. Resolution is one camera specification, not a complete measure of photo or video performance; the available product information does not establish real-world image quality through independent testing.

Water resistance and drop claims have limits
HONOR lists IP68 and IP69 ratings under IEC 60529 and IP69K under ISO 20653:2023. These are manufacturer-described ratings based on controlled tests, not assurances that the phone is safe in every water or dust exposure. HONOR cautions: “El teléfono no es un dispositivo profesionalmente resistente al agua” (“The phone is not a professionally waterproof device”). It also says protection is not permanent and can decline through everyday wear.
HONOR also advertises a 2.5 m drop result from its own laboratory testing on smooth granite, while warning that damage remains possible. That test claim does not guarantee survival of drops onto other surfaces or in ordinary use. Check the warranty terms in your market before relying on water- or drop-resistance claims.

- Confirm the precise model and market-specific configuration with the local seller.
- Check physical RAM separately from any virtual-RAM or “equivalent” marketing figure.
- Verify screen resolution and processor; the Costa Rican listing’s 1,592 × 720 resolution and Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 are not established as universal specifications.
- Check battery capacity, included charger and cable, and the conditions attached to the stated maximum charging rate.
- Review local network compatibility, software version, warranty and water-damage terms.
