What changes with the Pro?
Higher-tier listed chipset
HONOR lists the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 in the Pro and the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the HONOR 200. That establishes a difference in the stated processor tier, but does not by itself quantify real-world speed, gaming performance or heat. No direct benchmark or hands-on comparison is available here.
A slightly larger screen, with a thicker body
The Pro’s listed display is 6.78 inches, compared with 6.7 inches for the HONOR 200. The resolution figures above come from different regional specification pages, so they are not a controlled same-market comparison. HONOR Spain lists the Pro at 8.2mm thick and the standard model at 7.7mm— a 0.5mm difference.

Pro camera hardware
HONOR’s global Pro overview specifies 50MP main, 50MP telephoto and 50MP selfie cameras. It also highlights a 1/1.3-inch H9000 sensor, an association with Sony IMX856, and dual optical image stabilisation (OIS). These are manufacturer-listed hardware details, not proof that the Pro takes better photos in every situation. The available information does not establish full camera parity across regional HONOR 200 variants, and there is no independent camera comparison here.
Wireless charging
Both phones are listed with a 5200mAh typical battery and 100W wired charging. The Pro adds wireless charging rated at up to 66W. HONOR’s Mexico specifications say the wireless charging base is sold separately, and buyers should confirm compatible accessories for their region before purchasing. Wireless charging is a practical reason to consider the Pro only if you plan to use it.

How much more does the HONOR 200 Pro cost?
On HONOR UK pages checked on 7 October 2026, the HONOR 200 was advertised at £209.99 for 8GB/256GB with code A200AP40. The Pro was advertised from £399.99 with code A200PJU50. Subtracting the displayed prices gives a £190 difference, but it is not a verified like-for-like comparison: the Pro offer text does not identify the storage configuration behind its “from” price.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the HONOR 200 if value comes first
The standard model is the more straightforward choice if you want to spend less, its listed Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 meets your needs, and 100W wired charging is enough. At the UK promotional price cited above, it was substantially cheaper, although the exact saving depends on current local offers and configurations.
Consider the Pro if you will use its extras
The Pro is worth considering if you value its higher-tier listed chipset, slightly larger display, wireless charging or the camera hardware HONOR specifies—and the verified local price difference is acceptable to you. The specifications alone do not establish that it is faster in a particular workload, takes better photos, or lasts longer on a charge.
Software-support dates shown by HONOR UK
At the time the UK store pages were checked, their listed security-update periods ran from June 2024 to April 2028 for the HONOR 200 and from June 2024 to June 2028 for the Pro. These are regional store-page figures, not a guarantee that every configuration or market has identical support dates; check the current local product page before buying.
