To hide an NFT from your OpenSea profile, open your profile’s NFTs tab, select the item, and click the eye icon in the bottom action bar. To bring it back, choose Hidden from the NFTs tab’s Status filter, select the item, and click the eye icon again. Hiding changes how the item appears on OpenSea; it does not remove it from your wallet or erase its blockchain record.
How to hide an NFT from your OpenSea profile

Open your OpenSea profile and go to the NFTs tab.

Select the NFT you want to hide. You can select multiple items if you want to hide more than one.

How to find and unhide an NFT

On your profile’s NFTs tab, open the Status dropdown and choose Hidden.

Select the NFT you want to restore.

Click the eye icon in the bottom action bar. The item should return to your visible profile list.
OpenSea also describes the same basic hide-and-unhide workflow for tokens in the profile’s Tokens tab.

What hiding changes—and what it does not
Hiding is a profile display control, not a transfer or deletion. OpenSea says a hidden NFT remains on the blockchain and can still be viewed with tools such as Etherscan. It may also remain visible elsewhere on OpenSea, including on its collection page. Hiding an item does not prevent someone from inspecting public blockchain activity or seeing what a wallet owns.
Hidden NFTs and tokens also do not appear in OpenSea’s Portfolio view or its estimated portfolio value calculation. That display behavior does not mean the items have left the wallet. See OpenSea’s profile visibility guidance and its Portfolio guide.

Hide an item, hide a collection, or burn an NFT?

These actions are not interchangeable. If your goal is only to tidy your profile, use the hide control rather than burning the NFT. OpenSea explains collection visibility and burning in its collection-hiding guide.
Why an NFT may be in Hidden unexpectedly
OpenSea may automatically move certain transferred NFTs or tokens to Hidden status; its support guidance gives low-liquidity tokens as an example. Legitimate items can be hidden too, so Hidden status alone does not establish that an item is malicious or that your wallet was compromised.

An unsolicited NFT is not, by itself, proof of a compromised wallet. Scammers may use unfamiliar items to lure people to malicious links, so avoid clicking links attached to items you do not recognize. OpenSea says simply unhiding an item does not directly interact with the NFT or a third-party website. Read OpenSea’s explanation of hidden items.

First check whether the item is under Hidden. If it is not, OpenSea lists other possible causes: the wrong wallet may be connected, a transaction may still be delayed, or the item may have been delisted. Check that the profile is showing the intended wallet. For a delayed transaction, inspect its status using the transaction hash.

A delisted item is different from one you hid yourself: OpenSea says a delisted item or collection remains on the blockchain but may no longer be visible on OpenSea. See OpenSea’s guide to NFTs missing from a profile.
