If Hexowatch is flagging changes that do not matter to you, first check which kind of monitor produced the alert and whether it watches a broader part of the page than your intended signal. Visual, text, element, keyword, and source-code monitors track different things, so the right adjustment depends on what you actually need to detect.
Identify what the alert is monitoring
Hexowatch offers several monitor types, and an alert may be expected if its monitor tracks more than the change you care about. Check the alert’s configuration before changing it; there is no account-specific evidence here to establish that any particular alert is false.

Match the monitor to the change that matters
If you care about page appearance
Hexowatch says visual monitoring can cover a whole page or a selected screen area. If only one section matters, check whether a region selection is available and set the monitored area to that section where appropriate. A broad page capture can include changes outside the area you intended to watch.

If you care about wording
Consider Hexowatch’s content monitoring when the desired signal is visible text. Hexowatch describes this mode as able to ignore visual or source-code changes and alert when visible text updates. That makes it a more direct fit for copy changes than a visual monitor, but it does not establish that every text alert is erroneous or that this mode will eliminate unwanted alerts.
If you care about one field or element
For an HTML-element monitor, revisit the element selection. The setup walkthrough describes selecting a page element and inspecting its HTML when unwanted characters or text are included. Check that the selected element contains the specific value you care about, not a larger container that includes unrelated content.

If you care about selected terms
Review the terms in a keyword monitor. Hexowatch’s walkthrough shows multiple terms separated by a pipe or commas. Make sure each term is specific to the page and the condition you want to track. Check whether a source-code monitor watches HTML changes generally or a specific HTML snippet. A snippet-specific monitor may better match a narrowly defined requirement. Inspect the change evidence before dismissing an alert
Hexowatch describes archiving snapshots and comparing text, images, or code. If a change record or snapshot is available for the alert, compare it with the prior state to see what changed and whether it matters to your monitoring goal. The available description does not promise that every alert has the same evidence view or that snapshots are retained for the same period.
When the page renders incorrectly
If the page itself is not displaying as expected, do not treat the resulting alert as a confirmed content change until you verify the page.
