What kind of game is Hellraiser: Revival?
Saber describes Hellraiser: Revival as a single-player, first-person action horror survival game. The story follows Aidan after his girlfriend Sunny activates the Genesis Configuration, a mysterious puzzle box. Aidan ventures into the Labyrinth in an effort to save her, confronting the Scarlet Church, the Unworthy, and the Cenobites along the way. Saber’s game page and developer Game Director Emil Esov’s PlayStation Blog post describe gameplay built around using the box’s abilities alongside earthly weapons; Esov also says Aidan can dual-wield weapons and Genesis Configuration powers. These are developer descriptions, not independent hands-on findings.

When does it release, and which platforms are confirmed?
The scheduled release date is October 8, 2026. Saber’s official FAQ lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam, and the full-game Steam listing gives the same date. Esov confirms a PS5 launch in his PlayStation Blog post and says the game will be available digitally and on physical media. Platform editions and purchase availability can differ by region, so check the local storefront for current details.

Steam’s full-game listing publishes the following minimum and recommended specifications. They are listed requirements, not measured performance results.

There is a discrepancy between Steam and Saber’s support FAQ. The FAQ lists Ryzen 3 1200 or Core i5-4690 as minimum CPUs and 50 GB of storage; Steam lists Ryzen 5 1500X or Core i5-8400 and 80 GB. Both list 8 GB RAM and GTX 1660 or RX Vega 64-class minimum graphics, although Steam specifies 8 GB of VRAM for the RX Vega 64. For checking a PC against the published full-game requirements, use Steam’s complete current table above rather than combining figures from the two pages. The separately listed demo’s 50 GB requirement does not resolve the full-game storage difference.
Is there a demo?
A Steam demo, listed as released September 17, 2026, covers the prologue and part of Episode 1. Its description says it introduces puzzle solving, crafting, and combat. The demo build is marked pre-release, and progress will not transfer to the full game. Its PC requirements are separate from the full game’s specifications and should not be used to judge the full installation.

How long is the game, and does it require an internet connection?
Saber’s FAQ estimates “Around 8- 12 hours of gameplay.” That is the publisher’s estimate, not an independently timed playthrough. The same FAQ says an internet connection is not required. It also says post-launch content is not planned at this time; that describes current plans, not a guarantee that plans cannot change.

What content does the Steam listing describe?
The developer-provided content description on Steam mentions strong violence, gore, torture, consensual mutilation, mature language, drug and alcohol abuse, tobacco use, and non-explicit consensual sex. It also identifies narrative themes including suicide, domestic abuse, BDSM practices, and addiction. This summary reflects the listing’s content description and does not assign an age rating.
