Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is scheduled to launch on October 8, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and Steam. Saber Interactive describes it as a single-player, first-person action horror survival game. As of October 7, 2026, that date is tomorrow, so the game should be described as upcoming rather than already released.
When does Hellraiser: Revival come out, and what platforms are confirmed?
Saber Interactive’s official FAQ lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and Steam, with an October 8, 2026 release date. Steam’s store listing also gives that date. The FAQ is the clearest current source for the announced platform lineup; an earlier Xbox Wire announcement focused on Xbox Series X|S.

The PlayStation Blog developer diary says the launch includes digital and physical media. That confirms a physical release exists, but does not establish which platform versions will be sold physically, where they will be available, or which retailers will stock them. Check a local retailer for edition and availability details.

Yes. Saber calls it a single-player game, and Steam also lists “Single-player” among its features. The sources reviewed do not announce a multiplayer mode.

What is the story and what does the player do?
You play as Aidan, who is trying to help his girlfriend Sunny escape the Labyrinth. The Genesis Configuration puzzle box draws Aidan into the conflict; its powers combine with earthly weapons as he faces cultists and other enemies. Saber describes the game as a new story set in the Hellraiser universe.
Gameplay is presented from a first-person perspective. Saber’s FAQ describes melee weapons, ranged weapons and abilities powered by the puzzle box. A July 2026 developer diary also discusses dual-wielding weapons and fighting the Scarlet Church and the Unworthy. The available sources do not establish performance, resolution or other platform-specific gameplay differences.

How is the game connected to the Hellraiser films?
The game draws on the atmosphere, themes and mythology of the first two Hellraiser films, but its plot is not directly connected to them. In a July 22, 2025 Xbox Wire interview, executive producer Nenad Tomic described it as a new story in the franchise’s universe and said Clive Barker was involved from the beginning.

How long is a playthrough, and is an internet connection required?
Saber Interactive Support estimates “Around 8- 12 hours of gameplay” and says an internet connection is not required. The duration is the publisher’s estimate, not an independently measured playtime.

What PC requirements are listed?
Saber’s FAQ and Steam’s listing do not match on every minimum requirement. For a Steam purchase, use the requirements shown on the current Steam listing; do not merge the two sets into one specification. Both are included below so the storage and CPU differences are clear.

What mature-content warnings should players know about?
Steam’s developer-provided content disclosure flags mature language, strong violence, gore, torture, consensual mutilation, drug and alcohol abuse, tobacco use and non-explicit consensual sex. Choose based on the system you use and whether you want a digital or physical copy; the available sources do not establish platform performance differences or cross-save support.
