Hello Kitty Party Land is scheduled to launch physically and digitally for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 29, 2026. The available official pages confirm physical editions are listed, but they do not verify October 14 as the date physical preorders begin. Bandai Namco Europe said preorders were available by July 24, 2026, without specifying when physical preorders opened.
When do physical preorders begin?
October 14 is the date stated in the headline, but the official sources available for this article do not independently confirm it as the physical preorder start date. Bandai Namco Europe’s July 24, 2026 announcement said preorders were available for physical and digital editions; it does not establish an October 14 start. Bandai Namco’s North American store currently lists physical Day 1 and Premium editions, but its listings do not provide a preorder-start date. Check the retailer listing in your region for current order status and terms.

The distinction matters: confirmation that physical copies are available to preorder by a particular date is not confirmation that preorders first opened on that date.

That applies to the digital listing; it does not establish that physical copies from every retailer include the same bonus. What kind of game is Hello Kitty Party Land?
The publishers describe a party game built around Sanrio characters, a board-game mode, collectibles, avatar customization, and mini-games. Sanrio Games promotes more than 145 characters and over 45 original mini-games. Bandai Namco’s product page identifies 16 playable Sanrio characters. The larger character count is not the playable-character count.
Bandai Namco Europe describes local and online play for up to four people. Nintendo’s US listings specify one to four players on one system, as well as online play. The official descriptions do not establish comparative technical performance or platform-specific gameplay differences between the Switch and Switch 2 versions.
