In 91mobiles’ device-tested comparison, the UNISOC T7250 has a much higher AnTuTu result, but only a slight lead in Geekbench CPU scores. Those figures describe tested phones, not fixed performance guarantees for every phone using either chip. A separate comparison reports lower AnTuTu scores and a smaller gap, so the handset and benchmark source matter.
How the benchmark results compare
91mobiles lists the following results for devices using each chipset. Its AnTuTu figure is the highest recorded among devices running that chip; the results are database values, not controlled laboratory measurements of the processors alone.

The size of the AnTuTu gap is not consistent across comparison sources. GadgetVersus reports 234,243 for one Helio G85 variant and 264,588 for the T7250, with different Geekbench results depending on the G85 variant. These figures should not be merged with 91mobiles’ results or treated as a universal score for either chip. GadgetVersus’ comparison

MediaTek lists the Helio G85 with LPDDR4x memory, a maximum memory size of 8 GB, eMMC 5.1 storage, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0. Its listed cellular capabilities include LTE Cat-7 downlink, Cat-13 uplink and 4G carrier aggregation. MediaTek also lists support for a maximum display resolution of 2520 × 1080, 2K video at 30 fps, 1080p video at 60 fps, 48 MP camera capture and dual-camera configurations. Which chipset should you choose?
If choosing strictly by the cited benchmark results, the T7250 leads in 91mobiles’ AnTuTu figures and edges ahead in its Geekbench CPU scores. The advantage is less pronounced in GadgetVersus’ AnTuTu comparison, illustrating why these results are not a promise that every T7250 phone will outperform every Helio G85 phone.

For a purchase decision, compare the specific handsets rather than the processor labels alone. Check:
- Performance under sustained use in the exact phone models, especially if you play demanding games.
- RAM and storage capacity, since configurations vary by phone.
- Display resolution, battery capacity and cooling design.
- Network bands for your region and the phone’s software-support terms.
- The current price and configuration available where you live.
