No: the evidence reviewed supports one actor publicly confirming a role in Grand Theft Auto VI, not two. Stephen Root said in an Associated Press interview, “Yeah, you’re gonna see me in there.” The available sources do not substantiate a second confirmed actor.
Who has officially confirmed being in GTA 6?
Actor Stephen Root confirmed his involvement in an Associated Press interview syndicated by Yahoo. Asked about the game, Root replied, “Yeah, you’re gonna see me in there.” The AP interview video is the direct source for that confirmation.

Root also described how the secret became difficult to keep: “From the first rollout of GTA that they were doing – almost a year ago – they had my character in there, and there are too many people who knew me from King of the Hill and my voice [laughs] so I think that secret kind of got divulged already.” GamesRadar’s September 14, 2026 report reproduces the AP exchange and describes Root as the first actor confirmation.
Does Root play Brian Heder?
GamesRadar identifies Root as the voice of Brian Heder, a character named on Rockstar’s official GTA VI site. But Root’s quoted confirmation does not name Brian Heder, and the official character page does not credit Root. The careful distinction is that Root confirmed he is in the game; the character identification comes from GamesRadar’s reporting, not from the quoted answer itself.

Who voices Lucia, and who plays Jason?
The sources reviewed do not confirm performers for Lucia or Jason. A June 7, 2026 GTA Intel explainer discussed Manni L. Perez and Dylan Rourke as rumored performers, based on circumstantial clues. That article predates Root’s interview and is background on speculation, not an official cast announcement. Resemblance, voice comparisons, résumé entries, or earlier game credits do not establish a GTA VI role.
Why the “two confirmed actors” claim is misleading
The available evidence establishes one direct public confirmation: Root’s. The cited Rockstar page promotes the game and identifies Jason and Lucia, but it does not publish an actor cast list or performer credits. The coverage reviewed does not verify a second actor confirming involvement. So a headline asserting that two actors are “100% officially confirmed” overstates what these sources show.

What Rockstar currently lists for GTA VI
As checked on October 7, 2026, Rockstar’s official site lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and gives November 19, 2026 as the release date. Those are game details, not evidence of any performer beyond Root’s own statement. Rockstar’s platform, editions, and versions support page, last updated August 18, 2026, says the physical edition is a box containing a digital download code, not a disc.
