Some capabilities are free, while others—including Marquee—require HappyAddons Pro; HappyAddons also reports limitations with some Elementor V4 widgets.
What HappyAddons GSAP adds to Elementor
HappyAddons describes its GSAP Pack as eight animation features and seven widgets configured through Elementor controls such as sliders and dropdowns. The idea is to let site owners create motion effects without writing animation code. That is the vendor’s description of the workflow, not an independent usability assessment. HappyAddons’ launch announcement says the pack uses GSAP core, ScrollTrigger for scroll-based effects, MorphSVG for shape morphing, and SplitText for character- and word-level text animation. HappyAddons says those components run internally and that a separate GSAP license is not needed to use this pack.

The controls can animate properties including opacity, position, scale, rotation, blur, skew, color, background, border, box shadow, and perspective, according to the launch overview. The vendor describes triggers for page load, an element entering view, and scrolling; scrubbing can tie animation progress to scroll position. These are product-reported capabilities rather than evidence of how smoothly they perform on a particular site.
Effects and widgets in the pack
HappyAddons’ documentation index lists Dropping Elements, Stacked Card, GSAP SVG Draw, Image Cycle, SVG Morphing, SVG Line Draw, and Text Scroll as GSAP widgets, plus Horizontal Scroll and Marquee as features. Its GSAP feature page also describes sticky pinning, text and image reveals, and motion effects for images and content.
- Scroll effects and pinning: Scroll-based triggers, scrubbing, and keeping a section in place while a visitor scrolls.
- Text and image motion: Text reveals and scrolling text, image reveals or cycles, and dropping elements.
- Horizontal and continuous motion: Horizontal Scroll and Marquee for moving content.
- SVG animation: Drawing SVG lines and morphing one shape into another.
- Layered layouts: Stacked Card effects and other motion configured through the pack’s widgets and controls.
Marquee configuration
The Marquee documentation identifies this as a Pro feature for Elementor containers. It supports horizontal and vertical modes, with options for direction, speed, pause on hover, and item gap. Horizontal mode also offers rotation, zoom, fade, blur, and an ellipse effect. Treat these as options to explore for a specific design, not a guarantee that every effect will suit every layout or device.

What you need to use it
HappyAddons says WordPress, Elementor, and HappyAddons are required, and that Elementor Free is sufficient for most features. Its launch information gives minimum requirements of WordPress 6.8 and PHP 8.1 and says the plugin was tested up to WordPress 7.0.2. Those are vendor-published figures from 2026, not a timeless compatibility guarantee. Check the current WordPress.org HappyAddons listing and HappyAddons documentation before installing, since requirements and tested versions can change.
Free versus Pro
HappyAddons says some GSAP capabilities are available in HappyAddons Free, while advanced features and all Pro widgets require HappyAddons Pro. The launch announcement names Text Animation, Appearing Image, and Image Cycle among free capabilities; check the documentation for the tier of the particular effect you intend to use. Marquee is explicitly Pro, and its documentation lists Elementor Free, HappyAddons Free, and HappyAddons Pro as requirements.

The HappyAddons pricing page displayed annual Starter at $39 for one site and lifetime Starter at $149 for one site when accessed October 5, 2026. Those displayed prices excluded VAT and other taxes and may reflect promotions, so they should not be treated as fixed rates. The page also advertised a 14-day money-back guarantee; check its current terms and the live plan details before purchasing.
Elementor V4 compatibility caveat
HappyAddons reports that its widgets are not supported where Elementor has not yet given third-party add-ons access to the new V4 widget architecture. The vendor says standard Elementor widgets and HappyAddons widgets for which access is available are supported. This is a specific access limitation, not a claim that every V4 widget is incompatible or that every third-party add-on has the same issue. If your design relies on V4 widgets, verify the exact combination with HappyAddons before building around it.

How to evaluate the pack for a site
Start with the effect you actually need, then check its tier and widget compatibility. For example, a site that needs a pinned section or scroll-scrubbed reveal has different requirements from one that only needs a looping marquee. Compare the visual-control workflow with a custom JavaScript implementation on the dimensions that matter to your project:
- Feature coverage: Confirm support for the precise effect, such as pinning, SVG morphing, or image reveals.
- Compatibility: Check the Elementor widget types and versions used in the page, especially V4 widgets.
- Cost and licensing: Confirm the HappyAddons tier, site count, billing term, taxes, and whether a separately built GSAP implementation would have distinct licensing needs.
- Performance: Measure page weight and interaction behavior on your own site. The available product sources do not provide an independent performance benchmark, so they cannot establish that this pack is faster or slower than custom code.
HappyAddons’ own description is that the pack lets designers and site owners without JavaScript experience produce “GSAP-quality animations.” That is promotional vendor language; actual design flexibility and results depend on the effect, configuration, page, and devices involved.
