There is no universal Hajj-package deposit or instalment schedule. What you owe, when it is due, and what you can recover if you cancel depend on the booking route, Hajj season, selected package and signed terms. Check the actual invoice and contract before paying; a payment option on a platform does not by itself mean you can split the bill.
Are Hajj package deposits and instalments standardized?
No. The official material available for Nusuk Hajj, Saudi domestic bookings and country-specific organizers describes different arrangements, not one standard consumer payment plan. It does not establish a universal deposit percentage or number of instalments.

What happens if you miss a payment deadline?
Deadlines can be short, and a missed invoice may cancel a booking. In a Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announcement published on March 4, 2026, for domestic 1447 AH bookings through Nusuk, payment was due within 72 hours through 27 Dhu al-Qadah, then within six hours from 28 Dhu al-Qadah. The announcement said failure to pay in the applicable window resulted in automatic cancellation. These were season-specific domestic rules, not a current deadline for every route or a later season. Check the invoice for its expiry time, the required payment channel and the season it covers. If the payment window is unclear or you need more time, contact the provider before it expires and retain its written response.

Is a Hajj package deposit refundable?
Do not assume that a deposit is refundable simply because it is called a deposit, or that a cancellation window guarantees all your money back. The applicable package contract and cancellation schedule determine what may be retained. The displayed Nusuk Hajj terms provide a cancellation grace period of 72 hours after purchase, or until booking closes if that happens sooner. Saudi domestic 1447 AH example
For domestic 1447 AH bookings, the Saudi Ministry’s March 2026 announcement described cancellation without deduction before permit issuance through 30 Shawal, deductions at later stages, and no refunds for cancellations from 1 Dhu al-Hijjah until the platform closed. The season’s Nusuk journey page provides further date-specific deductions, including a 10% deduction in one post-permit period and a 100% deduction in a later period, as well as an indicated 7–14 day interval for depositing refunds to the account on file. These details belong to that season’s domestic route; do not combine them with the platform-wide terms as if they were one universal policy. Nusuk Hajj journey information
The domestic page also describes limited exception cases for that season, such as the death of the primary applicant or spouse in specified circumstances, qualifying road or criminal accidents, and documented serious health incapacity or hospitalization. Exceptions have conditions and documentation requirements; do not assume they apply to another season, a different Nusuk package or an external provider. Check the relevant official page and contract for the exact evidence and submission deadline.

- Payment schedule: the amount due now, each later amount and its due date. Confirm whether staged payments are actually offered.
- Payment channel and expiry: accepted methods, invoice deadline and what happens if payment is late.
- Cancellation rules: cutoff dates, deductions and whether the permit has been issued.
- Refund mechanics: where the money goes, how long processing may take and whether a fee applies.
- Exceptions: qualifying circumstances, required documents and the deadline to submit them.
Use official package information and authorized-provider lookup where available, and confirm that the provider is authorized for your country and season. What to keep before and after payment
Keep a copy of the selected package details, contract, invoice, payment confirmation and any messages agreeing to revised dates or amounts.
