The appliance itself measures 1725 mm high × 790 mm wide × 707 mm deep, according to Haier. CHOICE lists recommended installation dimensions of 1730 × 800 × 712 mm. Measure the cavity, including the clearance needed for installation and use, rather than assuming the product dimensions are the complete space requirement. Door swing, access routes and surrounding cabinetry also matter when checking whether a French-door refrigerator will work in your kitchen. Water dispenser and ice maker
Refillable water, no plumbing connection
The water dispenser is non-plumbed and uses an interior refillable tank. That avoids connecting the refrigerator to a water line, but you will need to refill the tank yourself. Haier lists this as a feature of the HRF510FHS on its official product page.
Manual twist ice

Energy use and warranty
Haier lists a 5-star energy rating and claimed annual consumption of 313 kWh. CHOICE’s listing also reports those figures. To estimate running cost, multiply 313 kWh by your electricity tariff per kWh; the result is an estimate based on the claimed annual consumption, not a guarantee of what a particular household will use. Haier lists two years of parts and labour coverage, plus an additional ten years of compressor parts coverage. The additional compressor period is not a ten-year full-appliance warranty; read the manufacturer’s warranty terms for coverage conditions and exclusions.

What independent testing establishes
CHOICE lists the HRF510FHS as tested in 2026, but its public listing does not show the Expert Rating or detailed results. It therefore does not establish a public score here for temperature stability, noise, reliability or food freshness. Haier’s descriptions of even cooling and produce freshness are manufacturer claims, not independent test findings. CHOICE’s page shows a $1,799 listing, but that is not evidence of a current price or offer; check current retailer pricing and availability directly.
