Haier’s documents report different capacity measures. Keep the figures tied to their labels and sources rather than treating them as interchangeable.

CHOICE labels the model discontinued. That is the status shown on its page, not confirmation that every retailer or market has stopped selling it; check local availability and verify the exact model number if considering a listing.
Will it fit a 60 cm kitchen space?
Haier’s 2023 quick guide gives external dimensions of 1702 mm high × 595 mm wide × 642 mm deep. Its user manual instead lists 642 × 595 × 1700 mm (depth × width × height). The published measurements therefore put the unit at about 60 cm wide and 170 cm high, but the cabinet dimensions alone do not establish the clearance required for installation.

CHOICE gives a recommended installation envelope of 176 cm high × 70 cm wide × 70 cm deep. Treat that as its recommended space, not the refrigerator’s external dimensions. Before buying, check the current installation instructions, required clearances, and whether the appliance can pass through doorways and into its final position.

Haier’s 2023 quick reference guide states a 2.5-star energy rating and claimed annual consumption of 421 kWh; CHOICE also displays those figures. They are published rating and consumption figures, not a forecast of a particular household’s electricity use or bill. Actual consumption and cost depend on use and local electricity rates.

Cleaning and safety
Haier’s manual instructs owners to unplug the power cord before cleaning, then use a soft cloth and dishwashing liquid. It cautions against splashing water directly onto the appliance. The manual says LED replacement should be handled by Haier or an authorized service agent.
The manual identifies the refrigerant as flammable isobutane (R600a) and warns against damaging the refrigerant circuit. It also says servicing that involves removing covers is hazardous for anyone other than an authorized service person.

Haier’s 2023 quick reference guide states a two-year parts-and-labour warranty; CHOICE also lists a two-year warranty. Confirm the warranty terms that apply to the specific unit and market, particularly if buying old or remaining stock.
