Which service fits your stream?
Choose Gyre if stream capacity and resolution are the deciding factors
Gyre’s published plan table gives concrete HD and 4K concurrency figures, which helps if you already know how many simultaneous streams you need. Compare those numbers with the storage, scheduling, and other features included in the specific plan. Do not assume a feature available on one tier is included on another.
Choose LiveReacting if participation is part of the broadcast
LiveReacting is the more natural fit if you want a prerecorded stream augmented with audience-facing elements such as polls, trivia, or chat overlays. Its 24/7 plan describes unlimited duration, but destination capacity and feature access vary by plan. Confirm the exact plan limits for your intended setup.

Check these details before paying either provider
- How many streams can run at the same time, and at what resolution?
- What storage is included, and can existing channel videos be imported directly?
- What are the supported video formats, upload limits, and transfer constraints?
- Can you schedule starts and stops, and does automation cover the metadata and monetization defaults your channel needs?
- How does the service reconnect if YouTube interrupts a broadcast, and what support is included?
- How many destinations can the plan send to at once, if you need more than YouTube?
- What duration, billing, and cancellation terms apply to the current plan?
Set up an always-on stream safely
- Confirm YouTube live access. YouTube says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days; the person streaming must be at least 16. Review YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance before configuring a provider.
- Prepare video and audio you have rights to use. You are responsible for rights to the material you broadcast, including any necessary music rights. See YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions.
- Build a playlist and configure the provider. Add the prerecorded videos, arrange their order, and set the scheduling and stream details supported by the plan. Follow the selected service’s current setup instructions, and confirm whether you authorize the channel or supply a stream key.
- Decide how you will keep a copy of the broadcast. YouTube says it can automatically archive a live stream under 12 hours, while a stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. YouTube recommends recording a local archive as backup if the replay matters. See YouTube’s archive guidance.
- Review monetization expectations. YouTube’s monetization policy applies to livestreams and expects original, authentic content; repetitive or mass-produced material may be ineligible. The policy page says the terminology changed from “repetitious content” to “inauthentic content” on July 15, 2025. Read YouTube’s channel monetization policies.
Common problems and what to check
- The stream will not start: verify that the channel meets YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility requirements and that the selected provider has current authorization or the correct stream-key configuration.
- The provider cannot run as many streams as expected: check the plan’s concurrent-stream limit and whether its stated count changes at 4K resolution. Gyre’s listed capacities differ between HD and 4K.
- A playlist or interactive feature is unavailable: confirm that the feature is included in the selected tier; both providers describe plan-dependent capabilities.
- The replay is missing: streams beyond 12 hours may not be captured by YouTube. Keep a local recording if you need an archive.
- A stream is blocked or unsuitable for monetization: check rights for all video and audio, then review YouTube’s live-stream terms and monetization policies. Continuous playback does not itself establish monetization eligibility.
