What are the GTA 6 PC requirements?
Rockstar has not published a GTA 6 PC requirements list, so there are no confirmed minimum or recommended specifications for Windows, CPU, graphics card, VRAM, memory, or storage. Rockstar’s platform and editions information covers console editions; it does not establish what hardware a PC version would need.

Rockstar’s GTA VI page currently identifies PlayStation 5 under “Plays Best On.” That is console information, not confirmation that a PC version will never arrive. The same distinction applies to the physical console edition: Rockstar says its box contains a download code rather than a disc, which does not answer the PC hardware question.

Will your PC run GTA 6?
There is not enough official information to determine whether a particular PC will run GTA 6. Without a published PC version and requirements, matching a computer against a GPU, processor, memory, or storage target would be guesswork. Third-party predictions may be useful as speculation, but they cannot establish compatibility.

Why GTA V Enhanced specs are not GTA 6 specs
Rockstar does publish PC requirements for GTA V Enhanced. They are concrete figures for that game only—not a proxy for GTA 6.

These figures come from Rockstar’s GTA V PC system requirements. They should not be used as a GTA 6 shopping list or as evidence that a PC meeting them will run GTA 6.

When is GTA 6 coming to PC?
As of PC Gamer’s August 28, 2026 update, Rockstar had not announced a PC release date or window. PC Gamer estimated that a PC release was unlikely before November 2027, based on earlier Rockstar port timelines; that is the publication’s forecast, not a date supplied by Rockstar. Should you upgrade your PC for GTA 6?
Wait for Rockstar to announce a PC version and publish its requirements before buying hardware specifically for GTA 6. Once official specs are available, compare your system with the stated minimum and recommended CPU, GPU and VRAM, memory, storage, and any target resolution or performance Rockstar provides. Until then, neither GTA V Enhanced requirements nor a third-party estimate can reliably tell you what upgrade—if any—you will need.
