The Google Pixel 10 Pro is the better fit if you want a smaller phone, a 5x optical telephoto camera, or Qi2 wireless charging. Samsung’s Galaxy S25 FE gives you a larger display and a lower US launch starting price. The specifications show clear differences, but they do not establish a winner for camera quality, speed, or battery life.

Samsung announced a US Galaxy S25 FE starting price of $649.99. Google announced a $999 US starting price for the Pixel 10 Pro. On those launch starting prices, the Galaxy S25 FE was $349.01 less expensive. That is a comparison of launch prices, not a current matched retail-price check.

- Google Pixel 10 Pro is the ultimate Pixel experience, featuring advanced AI with Gemini, unbelievable camera quality, impeccable design in two sizes, and the next-gen Google Tensor G5 chip[1]
- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan[2]; it works - Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers

When retrieved, Google’s US Store specifications page displayed the Pixel 10 Pro at $849, reduced from $999. Comparing that observed store-page price with Samsung’s launch price produces a $199.01 difference, but it mixes a store-page price with a launch price and should not be treated as a current like-for-like comparison. Check the same-day prices for the same storage tier and seller before deciding which costs less now. Sources: Samsung’s US launch announcement and Google’s Pixel 10 Pro specifications page.
Which phone has the better camera setup?
The specification advantage depends on the kind of shot you want, not on a measured overall quality result. The Pixel has a 48MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom; the Galaxy has an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The Galaxy’s listed wide and telephoto cameras include optical image stabilization (OIS). The Pixel’s rear setup pairs a 50MP main camera with a 48MP ultrawide and 48MP telephoto, while its listed front camera is 42MP versus 12MP on the Galaxy.

Those resolution and zoom specifications do not prove which phone takes better photos or video. The official specifications cited here do not provide a controlled head-to-head camera-quality test.
Which screen is larger?
The Galaxy S25 FE has the larger display at 6.7 inches, compared with 6.3 inches on the Pixel 10 Pro. Samsung lists its screen as FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X with 60Hz or 120Hz refresh rates. Google lists an LTPO OLED panel with a 1–120Hz range. Choose based on the physical screen size and display features that matter to you; the diagonal alone does not establish which screen looks better.

Charging and battery: what the numbers do and do not say
The phones make different charging trade-offs. Google specifies up to 55% in about 30 minutes using a 30W USB-C PPS charger or higher, and lists Qi2-certified wireless charging up to 15W. Samsung claims up to 65% in around 30 minutes with a 45W adapter and lists WPC-compatible fast wireless charging. Both manufacturers say the relevant wired charger or adapter is sold separately.
The charge percentages are manufacturer claims under different stated conditions, so they are not a direct speed comparison. Battery capacity is also close on paper—4,870mAh typical for the Pixel and 4,900mAh typical for the Galaxy—but capacity alone cannot establish day-to-day endurance. The cited official specifications do not provide a comparative runtime test.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Pixel 10 Pro if you prioritize a 6.3-inch phone, 5x optical telephoto zoom, or Qi2-certified wireless charging.
- Choose the Galaxy S25 FE if you want a 6.7-inch display, 3x optical telephoto zoom, or Samsung’s lower US launch starting price.
- Compare storage and local prices before judging value. The Galaxy’s announced storage configurations are 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB; Google says Pixel storage varies by configuration. The prices above do not establish today’s matched retail cost.
Galaxy S25 FE launch availability and offer
Samsung’s 2025 US announcement said the Galaxy S25 FE would be available starting September 4 in select markets, launched from $649.99, and include six months of Google AI Pro access. This describes the launch offer, not a verified current promotion or proof of present eligibility. See Samsung’s announcement. Google’s Pixel 10 launch announcement identifies the Pixel 10 Pro as part of that generation; model-specific details are on the Google specifications page.
