Connecting Google Keep to Gemini lets you ask for notes and lists in plain language, use a note as context, and add items to an existing list. It can make digging through Keep easier—but it is not a guarantee that Gemini will find every relevant note or return a perfect answer. In each new chat, ask Gemini to use Keep, and check the original note when accuracy matters.
What Gemini can do with Google Keep
When the Google Workspace app is connected, Gemini can find Keep notes and lists, show relevant content, use a note as context for a conversation, create notes, and add items to an existing list. This is a conversational way to retrieve and work with Keep content, not a promise that you will never need to search Keep yourself. Gemini’s answer can be incomplete or wrong, so treat it as a shortcut to your notes rather than an authoritative replacement for them.
Connect Keep and ask Gemini to use it

Sign in to Gemini with the same Google account you use for Keep, and make sure Keep Activity is on.

In Gemini, ask it to find or create something in Keep. If Workspace is not connected, follow the on-screen prompt to connect it. You can also type

In a new conversation, explicitly mention Keep or start the prompt with

Use a distinctive note or list name, project, event, or goal in the prompt to help narrow what you mean. If the answer does not look right, ask again with more specific wording or open Keep and check the original.
Who can connect the integration?
For a personal account, the documented flow requires signing in with the account associated with Keep, turning on Keep Activity, and completing the Workspace connection if prompted. For work or school accounts, Google says access also depends on having a qualifying Workspace edition and administrator permission to connect apps. If the connection option is missing or a prompt fails, check whether you are signed in to the right account and whether Keep Activity is enabled. On a work or school account, ask your administrator whether connected apps are allowed. Google also documents user controls for enabling or disabling the Workspace app in Gemini settings; Workspace use is governed by the organization’s Workspace agreement.
