Disney: investments are meant to support longer-term earnings growth

Baker Hughes: Chart integration and potential synergies
The report says Goldman reinstated coverage after Baker Hughes closed its acquisition of Chart Industries. Mehta’s reported thesis is that operational and geographic synergies could contribute to revenue and margin growth, with “multiple paths for earnings expansion through 2030.” Those are expected benefits, not confirmed outcomes.

Nu Holdings: a possible move into U.S. consumer credit
Labarta’s reported case centers on Nu’s prospective U.S. consumer-credit business. He argued that its “ultra-low cost digital approach” and customer experience could support market entry, while acknowledging a competitive market with significant upside potential. The report says the target estimate included some initial U.S. expansion costs but excluded potential upside; that is an analyst assumption, not evidence that expansion will succeed.

UPS: a potential profit-growth inflection after network changes
The reported Goldman view is that the Amazon volume drawdown and associated cost take-out are complete, potentially allowing more consistent profit growth. - Separate a rating from evidence. A reported Buy view and price target express an analyst’s opinion; they do not promise a share-price outcome or establish that the rating is still current.
- Check the underlying catalyst. Use each company’s earnings release and investor materials to see whether the relevant investment, integration, market entry, network transition or growth driver is progressing.
