Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsYou may not need an add-on: Firefox can save a full-page screenshot from its built-in screenshot tool. If you want GoFullPage specifically, it is currently listed in Mozilla Add-ons for Firefox; other extensions offer different formats and editing features, but their listing claims are not independent reliability tests.
Capture a full page with Firefox’s built-in tool
On the page you want to capture, open the page context menu and choose Take Screenshot, or press Ctrl+Shift+S on Windows or Linux, or Command+Shift+S on macOS. Choose Save full page to capture below the fold. Firefox also offers visible-area, recognized-page-part, and manually selected-region captures; you can download an image or copy it to the clipboard. Mozilla documents the screenshot tool and its options.

This is a practical first choice for occasional captures when you do not need extension-specific editing or batch workflows. Mozilla describes the feature as capturing visible or full web pages and allowing users to copy or save the images.

Use Developer Tools for element captures and command options
Firefox Developer Tools can capture a whole page or an individual element. To expose the toolbar control, open Developer Tools settings and, under Available Toolbox Buttons, enable Take a screenshot of the entire page. For command-level control, use the Web Console’s :screenshot helper. Its documented options include --fullpage, --selector, --delay, --dpr, --clipboard, --file, and --filename. See Mozilla’s Web Console screenshot documentation for syntax and details.

- CRISP CLARITY: This 23.8″ Philips V line monitor delivers crisp Full HD 1920x1080 visuals. Enjoy movies, shows and videos with remarkable detail
- INCREDIBLE CONTRAST: The VA panel produces brighter whites and deeper blacks. You get true-to-life images and more gradients with 16.7 million colors
- THE PERFECT VIEW: The 178/178 degree extra wide viewing angle prevents the shifting of colors when viewed from an offset angle, so you always get consistent colors
- WORK SEAMLESSLY: This sleek monitor is virtually bezel-free on three sides, so the screen looks even bigger for the viewer. This minimalistic design also allows for seamless multi-monitor setups that enhance your workflow and boost productivity
- A BETTER READING EXPERIENCE: For busy office workers, EasyRead mode provides a more paper-like experience for when viewing lengthy documents
Use the selector option when you need one element rather than the whole document; use a delay when a page needs time to settle before capture. Developer Tools is the more configurable built-in route, but the screenshot toolbar button is not enabled until you turn it on.
GoFullPage is available for Firefox
GoFullPage has a current Mozilla Add-ons listing, so it is not accurate to say Firefox users cannot install it. The listing describes one-click scrolling capture, image and PDF export, complex-page handling including inner scrollable elements and embedded iframes, and a premium editor. It lists version 8.9 as updated September 24, 2026.

Firefox alternatives: choose by workflow and output
The most useful differences are whether an extension claims to handle nested scrolling or lazy content, which image or PDF formats it offers, whether editing or batch capture matters, and what Firefox version it requires. The following details are the extensions’ Mozilla Add-ons listing claims, not comparative test results. Update dates and compatibility details reflect listings checked October 3, 2026; confirm them on the listing before installing.

Check permissions, privacy, and compatibility before installing
- Review requested permissions. Confirm the extension’s current Mozilla Add-ons permission details make sense for its capture features.
- Read privacy disclosures carefully. A developer’s claim that processing is local or that an extension makes no network requests is not the same as an independent audit.
- Confirm your Firefox version. OpenScreenShot’s listing specifies desktop Firefox 140 or later; requirements for other extensions can change.
- Check recency and paid tiers. FireShot’s listing date is older than the others in this comparison, and some features are described as upgrade functionality. Verify current support and what is included before relying on those features.
- Test a representative page. If your work depends on nested scroll panels, iframes, sticky headers, lazy-loaded images, or very long pages, try the extension on those specific page types before adopting it. Listing descriptions do not establish which extension will work most reliably for your pages.
Or skip the browser setup
If you need screenshots from code or an AI agent instead of a Firefox extension, ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server. One GET request can return a PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF. For a direct call, replace the example URL with the page you want to capture and provide your API key:
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options and response details. It accepts cookie/consent banners as a visitor and removes more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; each step can be turned off. Bot checks/CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing, and response headers identify the page verdict and whether the request was billed. Its MCP server offers take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf for AI agents. The free plan includes 1,000 shots per month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000.
