Neither GoDaddy nor ProfesionalHosting is a proven overall winner: the available plan details are not a like-for-like comparison, and there is no independent head-to-head evidence on speed, uptime, or support. GoDaddy’s surfaced U.S. offers are entry-level shared hosting and managed WordPress; the detailed ProfesionalHosting comparison is a managed WordPress VPS in Madrid. Compare the same hosting class, then check the full-term cost and the location and resources your site needs.
What the available plans actually compare
GoDaddy’s U.S. product page shows entry offers for shared web hosting and managed WordPress. ProfesionalHosting’s detailed WordPress VPS listing describes a different service: a managed virtual private server with specified CPU and RAM. A low introductory shared-hosting price cannot establish that a VPS is more expensive or better value; the products provide different resources and management models.

For a fair comparison, match shared hosting to shared hosting, managed WordPress to managed WordPress, and VPS to VPS. The figures below are company listings retrieved on October 7, 2026, not independent price or performance tests.
Published plans, resources, and prices
| Provider and listing | Published price and billing context | Listed features |
|---|---|---|
| GoDaddy Economy web hosting, U.S. | $6.99/month for the first one-year term; renewal price not established by the surfaced listing. | One website, 25 GB NVMe, cPanel, and a first-year SSL offer. |
| GoDaddy Managed WordPress Basic, U.S. | $6.99/month for the first one-year term; renewal price not established by the surfaced listing. | One site, 10 GB NVMe, WordPress pre-installation, managed control panel, SSL without renewal fees, security, CDN, optimizer, core updates, and migration tooling. |
| ProfesionalHosting shared hosting | A surfaced page snippet shows €6.48/month as a promotional figure; the listing does not establish a complete comparable schedule of renewals and inclusions. | The page promotes NVMe storage, a Spanish data center, Let’s Encrypt SSL, and an eligible first-year .es or .com domain. |
| ProfesionalHosting VPS Económico WordPress | €18.01/month with an annual promotional coupon, excluding VAT, on the overview listing. | The overview describes WordPress-oriented VPS plans and a Madrid data center; this entry listing is separate from the detailed Profesional tier below. |
| ProfesionalHosting VPS Profesional WordPress | The detailed page lists €93.57 monthly, €75.17/month on an annual equivalent, and €70.23/month on a biennial equivalent. Its overview displays a conflicting €52.62/month annualized promotional figure for a similarly named tier; confirm the configuration and checkout price. | 6 GB DDR4 RAM, 60 GB NVMe, four CPU cores, 100 Mbps, unlimited transfer, Madrid location, Plesk for 10 domains, managed VPS, migration, and support. |
GoDaddy’s two $6.99 figures are first-term U.S. promotional prices, not verified renewal rates. The ProfesionalHosting overview and detailed page do not agree on the similarly named WordPress VPS price. Check the selected configuration, billing commitment, VAT, renewal amount, and any domain, SSL, or control-panel charges in the cart before choosing on cost.
How management and infrastructure differ
GoDaddy: shared hosting or managed WordPress
GoDaddy describes standard web hosting as shared server hosting. Its managed WordPress service says it handles basic administrative tasks such as WordPress installation, automated daily backups, core updates, and server-level caching. The surfaced hosting page advertises a 99.9% uptime guarantee, daily backups, unmetered bandwidth, and data centers in North America and Europe. These are provider descriptions and terms, not independent measurements of uptime or speed. GoDaddy also says its money-back period is 30 days, subject to its terms.
GoDaddy’s hosting agreement identifies VPS as a distinct service in which the customer controls the virtual instance. It also specifies storage and file-count limits for covered accounts, so marketing language such as “unmetered” should not be read as an absence of every resource limit.

ProfesionalHosting: Spain-based hosting and managed WordPress VPS
ProfesionalHosting’s shared-hosting page promotes NVMe storage and a Spanish data center, while its WordPress VPS overview describes WordPress- and WooCommerce-oriented plans with NVMe, Plesk, managed administration, and a Madrid data center. The VPS overview says cPanel, extra CPU, RAM or storage, and SSL certificates can be separately priced add-ons.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Its standard VPS page advertises free migration, a first-year domain on eligible annual plans, and a 15-day refund or trial statement; confirm the conditions for the specific service. The available provider statements do not establish how either company would perform for a particular site or workload.
Choose by audience, workload, and operating needs
- Visitors’ location: ProfesionalHosting’s cited WordPress VPS listings specify Madrid. GoDaddy’s general hosting page lists data centers in North America and Europe, without establishing which location applies to every plan. Select a location based on your audience and deployment needs rather than assuming a provider-wide speed advantage.
- Resources: If you need VPS-level CPU and RAM, compare those quantities, storage, transfer terms, domain count, and any file or inode limits. The detailed ProfesionalHosting VPS listing gives explicit resources; the surfaced GoDaddy entry listings describe shared or managed WordPress plans instead.
- Administration: Check whether the exact plan includes server management, WordPress-specific help, migration, backup coverage and retention, and the support channel and hours you need. Feature descriptions are not evidence of faster support or better outcomes.
- Cost over time: Compare the same term and currency, promotional and renewal charges, VAT, domain renewal, SSL, and paid add-ons. Do not treat a first-term price as the recurring cost.
When reseller features matter
These options are relevant if you manage sites for clients or intend to resell hosting, not simply because you own a website. ProfesionalHosting advertises white-label reseller hosting with customized panel branding and URL, private DNS options, and plan-based resources. GoDaddy’s Pro page describes reseller capabilities that let users sell products under their own brand and set prices. Confirm the current program terms and included resources before building a client service around either offer.

GoDaddy is a reasonable shortlist candidate if you want an entry-level shared or managed WordPress offer in the U.S. market shown and are prepared to verify renewal pricing and plan limits. ProfesionalHosting merits consideration if your audience or operating needs point to Spain, or you want to assess a managed WordPress VPS with a Madrid location and published resource specifications. The available information does not establish that either is faster, more reliable, or cheaper over a full renewal cycle.

A February 2026 TechRadar review describes ProfesionalHosting as a Spain-focused provider with shared, application-specific, VPS, dedicated-server, video/streaming, and supporting products. That secondary overview adds context about its range, but current plan terms should be checked against the provider’s own listing.
