Ubisoft has also announced Globox costumes, including a preorder pack inspired by Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc. The available announcements describe a new visual presentation for the game, not a separate standalone Globox redesign reveal.
Is Globox getting a new design?
Globox is confirmed to return alongside Rayman, Barbara, Grand Minimus, and Murphy. Ubisoft describes Rayman Legends Retold as using reinterpreted 3D graphics, so Globox will appear within the game’s updated visual presentation. The official text does not announce a distinct character redesign separate from that broader visual overhaul. Ubisoft’s official Rayman account has also promoted outfits for Rayman and Globox.

The shift to reinterpreted 3D visuals is part of the game’s wider approach to presentation. On the PlayStation Blog, Ubisoft Brand Art Director Guillaume Arvieu said the “fresh 3D approach” bridges the visual richness and dramatization of Rayman 2 and Rayman 3 with the clarity of Rayman Legends’ side-scrolling gameplay. That describes the game’s art direction, rather than a specific change to Globox’s character design.

What Globox content is included?
Ubisoft has announced costume content for the game, including the Hoodlum Havoc Pack, which contains two costumes inspired by Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc: one for Rayman and one for Globox. Ubisoft’s announcement describes this as preorder content. Availability may depend on the edition, platform, retailer, or region; check the current offer where you plan to preorder.

The digital Deluxe Edition includes a four-costume Retro Pack and an Art Gallery. Ubisoft’s announcement does not say that the Retro Pack is the same as the Hoodlum Havoc Pack, so treat them as separate announced extras.
When does Rayman Legends Retold come out, and where?
Ubisoft’s September 23, 2026 announcement schedules Rayman Legends Retold for December 3, 2026. The date is a planned release date and could change. Ubisoft lists availability through Ubisoft+, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, GeForce Now, Blacknut, and PC via Ubisoft Connect, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. What changes in Rayman Legends Retold?
Ubisoft presents the game as a retelling and expansion of Rayman Legends, with returning levels alongside a new story, fully voiced cinematics, a sixth realm, four new musical stages, dragon rides, and couch co-op for up to four players. Its June 2026 announcement describes the reinterpreted 3D graphics as part of the game’s broader presentation. The company has not framed the project as a Globox-only update.
Ubisoft Brand Producer Loïc Gounon said the team wanted to preserve what fans love while expanding the game’s lore, world logic, and connections. The announced additions therefore go beyond a visual refresh: they also include new story and gameplay content.
