Yes: the GL.iNet Beryl AX (GL-MT3000) is a compact Wi-Fi 6 travel router that measures 120 × 83 × 34 mm, weighs 196 g and is listed by GL.iNet at $98.99. That size is easy to accommodate in a carry-on, though it needs a USB-C power source and a travel router is useful only where the network allows you to connect one.
Why the Beryl AX fits the carry-on brief
GL.iNet describes the Beryl AX as “A Pocket-sized Wi-Fi 6 Router for Home and Travel.” Its listed dimensions are 120 × 83 × 34 mm and its weight is 196 g, so it takes up little space compared with the larger items typically packed in a carry-on. Those are manufacturer specifications, not an independent packing test. See the GL.iNet Beryl AX product specifications.

Plan for power and the network you will use
The listed USB-C input is a power requirement, not evidence of a built-in battery. Pack a suitable USB-C power source; the router itself should not be treated as self-powered. Its small size makes packing straightforward, but it does not guarantee that every hotel, workplace or public network will let you connect a personal router. Network rules and connection methods vary, and no compatibility testing is established here.
Another under-$150 option: Slate AX
GL.iNet also lists the Slate AX (GL-AXT1800) as a Wi-Fi 6 travel router at $119.99 on its store. Its cited listing describes VPN throughput of up to 500 Mbps with OpenVPN DCO support and up to 550 Mbps with WireGuard; these are manufacturer claims, not independent test results. The available product information does not establish its dimensions or weight, so there is no basis here to say it is smaller than the Beryl AX. See the GL.iNet Slate AX listing.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Beryl AX when compactness is the priority: its maker lists exact dimensions and weight, as well as a $98.99 US store price.
- Consider the Slate AX if its listed VPN capabilities suit your needs: GL.iNet lists it at $119.99, but the cited information does not provide size or weight for a direct portability comparison.
- Check the destination network before relying on either: a travel router cannot bypass a network’s connection requirements or usage rules simply by being portable.
